Yeah mate. Looked great with ball in hand snd catching and passing to his winger. Yardage runs were strong too

Had the most epic butchering of a try since the bad days of Pomeroy.
Roughly what time was that try? I only saw the last twenty minutes (and not all of it), plus skimmed back to watch the try highlights

Was after fhe Dargons re-took the lead but before the Lavender try.

Just checked. 62nd minute i think. Went down as a Ford error which is a travesty.

It looked like the league equivalent of when someone accidently hits a ball twice with a bat/racquet. Such an awkward awful pass, but kinda looked like he over engineered it.

Yeah he overcooked it for sure. It's a panic play and poorly executed though, and when those things happen there are reasons for them.

Compare that to how well Ford played a similar situation on the first try. Ford is 3 weeks older than Gabrael, 4 days older than Ison and less than 3 months older than Pollard.

Bombed another certain try this week. Worse than last week.
Yeah that was awful.

Everyone’s worried about yardage and defence but he’s struggling with catch and pass.

I thought he was solid other than that. Dixon and Jones were better though. Harper back to the Pirates to walk the plank please. .

Pollard with more ass than Jesse the Elephant on the kick in the lead up.

Dixon has been impressive. Feel like he could steadily become a Hiroti replacement. Harper sucks.

Well he better figure it out fast otherwise wtf are we doing at centre next year.

Well that's the question. I think MG to right centre may still be Plan A but some of us would like to see him play there for the Jets a bit first, and the bombed tries aren't helping his case for NRL.

Complicating this is that while he can play other positions, Nikora Williams is best at right centre. If he plays 6 Jets games this year he will be free to sign elsewhere (for 2028) from November 1. Need to make sure there is still a pathway for him, or teams will come knocking. Maybe he is the new Hiroti for 2027.

Plenty of "Plan B" options... with various pros/cons for each.

- Sign a guy
- Williams
- Jones
- Move Ronnie to centre and play Dixon, Ison, Williams or a new guy on the wing
- Move Iro to the right side

Sounds like a fun thing to make a poll for.

Didn't have full attention on the game today but I thought he was good from what I saw. Nice to have two tries but the two try savers were more impressive.
Both tries were from kicks. Nice finish but didn't have to do much. Solid game all around on both sides of the ball though. If I'm nit-picking he maybe could have made a better first-effort on Pauga but he recovered well. I thought the whole back five were great in general.

Yeah, the tries were pretty simple; that's why I was identifying the tackles. Fair call on first contact and the rest of the back 5, I agree.
