This is indeed such an important signing.
Believe it or not coming into next season the club is crying out for experience and leadership in the core of the team. With no experienced Hookers, hopefully the introduction of Brown to halfback and Holmes to fullback, Ennis will be a real balancing ledger for the team with his quality and experience.
He, Gal, and hopefully a for once fit and firing Lewis will then be able to guide the team.

I choose not to believe it.

Gal
Lewis
Heighno
Carney
Gordon
Graham (probably experienced enough now)
Toops

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the signing. But I don't believe we're crying out for more experience.

We are crying out for a quality hooker more than leadership. Its a top signing.

We certainly need ed some quality in the hooker role. I used to hate the little bugger but glad to see him in the Sharks colours , Now for a young gun Center,Winger and Prop.

Slowly but surely

he is the type of player you hate when he doesnt play for your club but when he plays for your club you have so much love for him. As long as flanno sharp dont do a des and play him at halfback it will be great.

14 provides and its "if it happens" and "why hasnt it been announced" trust me. Theres no faith.

This is a fan site. I don't know who you are or how reliable you are. I take everything I hear on here with a grain of salt, I listen to it, but I'm always going to be sceptical, don't take it personally, you seem like an ok guy, but there are so many people on here that think they're in the know and have the inside word that I won't believe it till I see it. Like I said, nothing personal. Reaallllly hoping your on the money with this one though.

Dietz will be a 1st grader, wont be the saviour or a 10 yr player by any means,Roosters let him go as they signed the 17 yr old Garvey as there next big thing, funny as Dietz old man apparently works for the roosters in some capacity.Dietz was let go to make way for something better.

You can't blame people for doubting you mate, considering how many rumours of yours have been incorrect of late

Doesn't mean he can't be a 10 year player. Look at how many hookers Souths have produced recently. They have recently lost Peats and Koroisau, I'll bet they're both around for a long time yet.

Can't believe we let lichaa go to sign ennis
I think he is a very good signing considering we let lichaa go. However, we have given up a possible long term quality player for a player with only two years left. It is hard not to feel we have been dudded by the dogs on this one.
