Tells us nothing really mate. One of your posts said Tracey’s been released and signed with another club but this was all a made up rumour.

Why did you bring it up again?
Was that one for me mate? Or did I get Wiz'ed? :)

I'm not silly or suggesting anything, but it's weird how Tracey plays one good game in first grade and gets signed by another club, yet Trindall can't get seem to get a casually raised eyebrow after leading the side around for the first three weeks. And doing it pretty well.
This is the quote I mean mate. You are saying that Tracey has been signed by another club, but this is a total rumour and not true. Do you know something we all don't?

I’m going to go with…..NO, he hasn’t been released and it was just some “desperate attempt from an eels fan to try to create interest in getting him there or just plain old drama” until something official is written and posted on Sharks or NRL website.

Mozza has so often come across as a bit of a smirking mong it's sometimes easy to forget how much experience he has and how capable he is of putting on a professional display which is what the last few weeks have been for him but especially against the Knights.

His timing and passing when running into the line is at a consistently high level and reaps us rewards every week in attack.

You can see lately him starting to get his defense back to where it used to be which was actually rather good.

1 Missed tackle against the Knights playing in the halves is a good effort and it's not just stats you could see it in the game the effort and attention he gave to making strong tackles and being where he needed to be.

Also good to see him fired up and barking orders, I love it when this bloke is switched on with focus & intensity in his eyes. He does more for the team than probably given credit for in terms of coordination and off the ball stuff.

Also sometimes it is Mozza coming up with a cool headed play that saves our bacon

Plenty complain about his kicking game but he kicks as much as he needs to and when it's required. He actually executes his little bombs rather well (how often does he get them wrong?) and seems to get quite a few positive results from them for a guy that apparently doesn't have a kicking game.

Occasionally puts in a good grubber too.

I'm just calling it how I see it, I've bagged this bloke out more times than I can remember each and every season he has been here but have also given the credit when it's due (funny how that works).

I reckon he actually takes more pressure off Nicho than a younger less experienced Trindall would while not cramping Nicho's style or stopping him getting his hands on the ball as much as he wants. You throw in Trindall and I bet you Nicho still wants to play his game the same way with just as much involvement.

The question has been asked, can we go all the way with the Mozza and win the big games and moments? Play to our potential and ability across the park in attack and defense and don't put ourselves under unnecessary pressure, sure why not.

Play like plebs with bad discipline, line speed and attitude and it won't matter who is in the number 6 jersey.

If Mozza is a flat track bully then fmd give him a flat track to work with!

Alot of would have never thought we could go all the way with Chad.

Well Chad had Maloney

And Mozza has Hynes
Great post- I see the same attributes from this bloke. "Smiling Mong" made me laaa.

I don't understand why people think Dykes is next in line to partner Nicho.

He was playing fullback before his injury, myself and others see his future at 6 but no one at the club has ever mentioned it to my knowledge.
He was also switching between 6 and 1 for the Jets and got 5/8th of the year last year for NSW Cup.

Club hasn't specifically mentioned he's a full back either have they. I feel it's one of those common situations that you get your best 17 and make it work. Kind of like how we've made Sifa into a centre. Dykes when fit I think will be in our best 17.

I think the same will apply for Dykes. Unfortunately this ACL injury has thrown a huge spanner in the works for his development but it's potentially locked Kennedy in long term as our fullback with how he's playing. He's undroppable atm. So for mine it only really leaves Dykes to play 6 and with Moylan only contracted to next year I think it's very possible he might be developed into our long term 6.

Either way it's a nice problem to have

Are you slow ? He’s re signed no club can take him. Fitz has said he’s the future so the club is not releasing him

Log off the computer for a bit and take a walk
I'm obviously a big Tricky fan but don't forget he was available for other clubs to sign for quite a while. There was no interest.

The club list him as a fullback, his latest medical update from the club cites him as a fullback...

I don't disagree with what your saying in your third paragraph. Was just wondering why people suddenly thought Dykes was ahead of tricky at the club.

You're saying no club can take him because he's re-signed. He was a free agent for a very long time, why didn't another club try to sign him.

The point of my post is pretty obvious.

Whew... Mate... It relates to your conversations. From just the other day. Multiple posts from you around this subject. I honestly can't tell now if you're not following along or if you're just **** stirring

Let me break it down for you sparkles since I don’t mind you and you at least make sense sometimes..

Just to clarify ; Trindall was already signed for 2023 and we re-signed him for another 2 years in January through to 2025. Before a single game was played. Negotiations obviously earlier on top of that. So no he wasn’t a free agent for a long time and no HB does not have proof or truth that no other club wanted him

If you’re going to chime in a day later after the topic is already said and done like you said from “the other day” then atleast come to the table with something of substance or add to the topic - not on some trying to stir the pot sht which HB’s has already been called out for. It was pointless

and if HB was talking about 2 years ago when tricky was a free agent before Fitz was even coach, then it proves my point even further

Now re-read my reply to HB and don’t let it go over your head
