Of the 4 wing/centre spots I'd probably take Tracey in 3 out of 4. Right wing is main spot Ikuvalu has played NRL I believe.
Happy either way, good to have good depth to choose from.
Depending how precautionary Ikuvalu calf injury was he may not be available though

Ikuvalu's wing 'specialisation' might go against him in general. Tracey offers pretty much the exact same performance regardless of where he plays

Tracey did play a bit of right wing last year when Sione was out.

The wing he specialises on is the one spot you don't hold it against him though.
Could have the strength to abuse May although similarly not sure May has ever matched up on someone like Tracey either.

Does it increase Ikuvalu's stocks at all if it's a long term gig?
Keeps Tracey free to cover other positions.

Although you could argue not much difference to just bring him on and shift Tracey along if needed.
Probably just play whichever is the better right winger.

I'd be super pissed if I were Tracey and Ikuvalu got a long term gig ahead of me.
He was almost our starting fullback.
Almost our centre.
Almost our 14.
Spuiked publically as not able to be left out of the side.

He hasn't seemed the type so far, but I wonder if he's having thoughts about a full time starting gig that could lead him elsewhere

Fair

I'd also be pissed if I was a right winger who got released to go play under my old assistant coach and a right wing spot became available and he gave it to a man named Tracey

Hiroti will be upset also 😂
Ikuvalu coming always ****ed him, he has managed one game (and some bonus minutes) but happy for that to be the last we see of him.

Probably needs a shake up if he is to improve

Actually you know what, Hiroti kicked 7/8 two weeks ago for Jets then got rested(?) this week… in line for an NRL return?

Better than being replaced by a boy named Sue

Thought this bloke played really well. Has to be the best 3rd/4th choice winger getting around

Did everything asked of him tonight and didnt let down the team. Really wanted to see him **** up Naden for the cheap shot on Dykes. Ah well.
