I arrived at the game during half time of Toyota cup so didn't see the first half but where I was sitting I was able to have a good look at Pickerd (nothing suss)

Initally I thought he was a bit small but would say he would be very close to the same size as Jennings with obviously the potential for future growth spurts.

Off the ball he gets involved aswell, always looking to get involved or react to a break even if its on the other side of the field. His try was pretty simple but I've seen players bomb those tries before. Defensively he has a very sound technique so no issues there what so ever. Not sure about how he read the defense.

Moroko was on the other side so didn't get to see him what so ever.

Pretty fair assessment mate. He is one of those players that can give his man a little bit of room on the outside but still has the pace and ability to wrap him up. A great prospect.

I imagine he is attached to the top 25 for the offseason. He will be trainining full time to fast track development. Townsend is another in this program not mentioned in the TC squad despite being eligible.

Pickerd, Frizzell and Townsend are all in the "Apprentice" NRL squad- Grima said so in his interview a couple of weeks ago.

Wooloo-where??
Luke Pickerd is a name i've heard often over the last 10-12 years. My kids went to school with him and he was always the guy that won the athletics comps, reped school in footy, etc, etc.

An genuine allround athelete. Great to have him especially being a home-grown junior

I think he can push for gardner's spot. Good ballplayer, good defender, good speed, good under high ball and runs good lines. Better fullback than centre

I think Peaches is a more complete player, good at everything! Dno where he fits in the FG team though, but the sooner he's ready and there then the better! Same goes for Pickerd, after Friday night I am seriously hoping he and Mills are close to ready for FG for next year... they should be our long term center partnership
