LOL, no wonder Isaac has reportedly stopped turning up to training. :drunk

lol.

I hadn't heard of him myself but great to see a young shark taking steps forward and looking like he has alot of potential. Especially a centre! Very good news. Interested to hear how he goes.

Not overly tall from the pictures of him that I have seen. I'd say around 180-185cm and 90-95kg. Is fairly muscular looking for a young lad.

IMO there must be some real plans at putting him into the full time training group or apprenticeship group in the off season if there testing him with the big boys and skipping NYC.

I think we need to realise that the club generally sees the NYC as a standard above NSW Cup for those eligible for both. Wright and Leutele have been good in the NYC recently, they deserve their spots above Pickerd.

Its probably also good to remind everyone that every back in the current Broncos NYC team probably played Aus Schoolboys, or close to it. We've got one, unfortunately that means there's a whole lot of pressure on the kid. Ease off, it doesn't help.

Yeah I reckon about 182cm and 94kg, which is heavy for a kid his size. If he's quick and strong though his height won't matter. Look at Jennings, it just makes him harder to tackle.

anyone hear how Pickerd went in Toyota Cup. His stats seem to show he didn't play second half but that could just be that the stats guys were half assing it and or coudn't recognise him.

Looking earlier into this thread and it has a review of each game, Pickerd scored in every single game we won. The Roosters game in the finals when we were knocked out, Pickerd didn't score. Weird stat of the day I guess. Pickerd, Mills & Moroko are all signed up till the end of 2012 aparentley. Those 3 are our most promising backs not yet to debut.

I arrived at the game during half time of Toyota cup so didn't see the first half but where I was sitting I was able to have a good look at Pickerd (nothing suss)

Initally I thought he was a bit small but would say he would be very close to the same size as Jennings with obviously the potential for future growth spurts.

Off the ball he gets involved aswell, always looking to get involved or react to a break even if its on the other side of the field. His try was pretty simple but I've seen players bomb those tries before. Defensively he has a very sound technique so no issues there what so ever. Not sure about how he read the defense.

Moroko was on the other side so didn't get to see him what so ever.
