Thankyou all again past, present and future armed service personal. 100 years it would seem has gone so quick, on the way to dawn service right now, still shudder at the last post every time and think of how scared I'd be if it was me in the trenches.

Took my little son down to his first dawn service at Caloundra, massive attendance.
The last post sends shivers down the spine, really thankful for all service men and women.

Lest we forget. Makes me proud to be part of this country. Seeing such respect this many years on, as soon as I hear the bugle it sends a tear to my eyes.

I was down at the Mooloolaba service this morning mate. Like you no matter how many times i hear the last post, i always get emotional without fail.

Those troops and any servicemen/women that have fronted up for this country in our honour are heroes in every sense of the word.

Lest we forget!

First time I attended a dawn service this morning, pretty happy with myself for doing that. Lest we forget.

Mate did you happen to hear/see the Jet fly over, it was about 9:45 in Caloundra was low to the ground and absolutely shook your body. Was so bloody loud and an awesome sight.

I don't know if it's because I'm a father now but this year rocked me more then any other, puts different things is perspective I think.
Also cracker of a day to boot,

well done mate
My pop fought at war for this great country and my nieces March in the service in the town I grew up in wearing his medals with pride
I went to all the services growing up with my old man and the last post would always make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, standing within a few meters of guys who fought to protect our great country is an unbelievable experience

I went to my new home town (small community) service this morning at 5. Then the kids did the march at noon. Anzac day is always a good day and the kids love what its about. No amount of stories could ever make anyone know what those blokes had to endure.

Thanks mate. I have been marching in our small towns local march for years during my school years, I cant march anymore because I dont have any group to march with but I still go to all the services every year, I just changed a bit this year, decided to try a dawn service instead which I enjoyed, a fair bit different to the day service here.

Are we the only team this weekend that didn't wear a ANZAC Jersey?
