Tough year. Reckon Storm and Roosters will falter somewhat. Raiders good but no GF this year
Us around 4th or 5th
Reckon Parra will go ok
Panthers tough to say.Manly ok but worry about depth
Bottom 5 include Tirans Warriors Dragons Dogs and I do seriously think the knights will struggle. .Tigers at back end as well
No 1-16 but some general thoughts

LOL every year. “Storm will fall a bit” “Storm will slide”. Every damn year, nobody learns.

Yeah I've been guilty of saying that the last few years but it will happen.. maybe it's not till Bellamy and/or Smith retire ?

sooner or later they will have to dip, on the backline alone, depending on whether J.AC leaves this year or next season 2021 will see a complete new backline 5 from previous season with

Slater
J.AC
Scott
Chambers
Suli

all moving on.

If Bellamy keeps them in the top 4 come the end of 2021 (by then, Smith more than likely not playing in 2021) he is more of a genius than i thought.

With Bellamy and Smith this year they should be fine, especially if JAC and Suli stay for this season.
In 2021 if JAC and Suli were to leave, and Cam didn't play on, they can have Harry Grant start at 9 but will need to find some wingers.

Their forward pack is ****ing stacked at the moment which should help keep them competitive next few years.

JBrom is PO for 2021 and 22
NAS is signed through 2023
Kaufusi through 2022
KBrom through to 2022
Finucane signed to 2021
Good chance the bottom 3 are all gone for the 2023 season but that's ages away, plenty of time to find replacements.

Behind that pack Bellamy can probably still expect good results from Munster, Grant and Papi.

If Storm can keep the talent ID and system going though no reason they can't keep being a top competitor.

I get the feeling it's going to be a very unsettled year for us.

I'm predicting we'll miss the 8, hope I'm wrong.

Nah I think there are too many teams in worse shape than us for us to miss the 8. I think we’ll be there again but will probably just be making up the numbers again.

I'm defn expecting Top 8, where in the Top 8 I'm not sure.

Probably around the middle so 4th to 6th spot I guess.

How far we go in the finals I've got no idea

It’s pretty hard to make a prediction on us until we know whether Moylan is going to be fit or not.

A spine of Kennedy, Johnson, Townsend, Brailey would put a hell of lot of pressure Johnson.

Throw in a fit Moylan and suddenly the opposition has 2 threats to worry about.

Not expecting alot of super consistent clubs this season. Plenty of the top 8 with fairly equal win/loss ratios and making finals at expense of pleb teams by default and on F/A. Not to say the top 8 wouldn't have played some good footy over the season at various times. Alot of squad changes in key positions over numerous clubs and some big name retirements/releases. Might be mid to late season before they get it together and make a charge or do a dragons and start well and fade late.

It's probs the Roosters turn to bag another minor premiership over the Storm but I don't think the Roosters take out the GF this year. I can just see the motivation waning after another long season come finals time and they didn't even seem that excited winning another GF last year. They don't have Latrell now either who is also a goal kicker and a match winner with the ball in hand.

Every year Storm is said to fall away and it doesn't happen, they have some strong young players in that team now and tend to bounce back big time after failing in a finals series. GF winner isn't out of the question.

Going to buck the Ricky Stuart trend of dumpster fire season failures following a previously strong one and have them up high in the mix again. Just maybe they have found the right formula now and can replicate it

A fit Manly team is going to be a serious pain in the ass to many opposition teams, they should in theory go even better than last season.

Rabbits should be right in the mix, they have have lost the error factory of Sam Burgess and the busted and broken GI. If Latrell can make it work at FB they will be a threat. Still have size in the pack and a gun hooker

Cowboys, Holmes makes any team alot better even if he missed a season he is still young and looking stronger than ever. Can Morgan get fit and find some form? Hooker is a problem perhaps. Last rights for Coach Green, he will be motivated to have a good season with his career on the line but he is stubborn and seems void of new ideas. Still it's a strong team, a smokey

Dogs came good late season 2019 and found some heart and form but still prob lacking the quality across the park to improve their position drastically. Still might surprise some and get close to the 8 for a while

Broncos on paper should fail but that club has a habitual top 8 finals appearance and might not be far off showing up there again. Maybe Sebloid gets his plans in place and the players listen this time round, maybe not and they still dont click. Their saving grace is having some of best and most powerful/dynamic young forwards of any club.

Rest of the teams more of the same as 2019 but Eels & Knights anyone's guess with the coaches and players they have. Capable on their day but usually disappoint by late Sep

I see Cronk and Latrell as huge losses for the Roosters, seems like I'm alone on this with some of the predictions going around the place ?

I know they've still got a good pack and Tedesco but it's no coincidence they won the comp as soon as Cronk turned up..twice !

Seems very low on the Eels given they only really lost Manu Ma'u and brought it a pretty good replacement. Reason you don't like the Eels?

The other ones that stand out to me are Raiders and Manly.
I think Manly are probably lower unless Fainu comes back soon, and Raiders have taken a big gamble to bring in Williams over Sezer. But in saying that I haven't seen Williams play myself, maybe if I had I'd agree with you.
I think Leipana is a big loss too for them. That's the kind of pairing that can beat anyone on it's day.

Cowboys need to get their 6 and 9 choices right to do as well as you have them. I think chances are they don't and end up a bit lower, especially while Val gets his mojo back to begin with.

Cronk is a massive loss, especially when it comes to big games. They won a GF with 12 men and busted Cronk and there aren't many player you would even put in that situation. But they have enough super stars to still have a great season.
Latrell is a big loss also, but remember how good Morris was for us last year? He will patch that hole very nicely for them after a few rounds. I think they are still a top 2 side.

Not just a strong pack and the best FB in the game. They still have 2 very good halves in Kearey and Flanno who are both still improving. good experienced hooker in Friend and some weapons in the outside backs like Manu.

they have had only 1 bad year under Robinson in 2016, otherwise an incredible record in regular season and finals

perhaps their depth could be argued as a potential archilles heel

Yeah adding Matterson and RCG is massive for them, assuming RCG can get back to his best.

Raiders will slide and could miss the 8 I reckon.

Souths, melbourne, chooks, manly, parra 1-5 in any order. They will separate from the pack.

Sharks, raiders, panthers, broncos, knights, tigers, cowboys. Fighting for 6-12.

Saints, titans, bulldogs, warriors to round out 13-16.
