Kennedy offers **** all except a simple draw and pass.

Mate, he offers a lot more than that. Seriously.
But I’ve loved what Dykes and Miller have done while filling in. Lost nothing with either of them there.

Our depth is excellent this year, guys like them plus Ikavalu, Trindall, and our young forwards, every one of them are doing their job when needed.

I think you’ll find that Fitz will bring Kennedy straight back into the team but if he’s not 100% then we are still in good hands.

What does he offer exactly?

Experience, positioning (has got better at this), safety at the back, speed, cohesion with Hynes and Moylan.

His support play is a weakness I admit, Dykes and Miller have it over him in that department.

Mate, I think you’ll have plenty that agree with you but I think you’ll find Fitz will slot him back in when he’s 100% fit.

His positioning is ****. Especially on our goal line.

Sure he can catch a ball and link with the backline. But that’s about it.

He’s a myth. Dykes and Miller have such a higher ceiling than this bloke. Watch last nights game for example.
Miller’s speed, evasiveness, his ability to beat the first defender and get us a quick play the ball and on the front foot.

Kennedy is a plodder. Offers **** all.

I’m not convinced Miller isn’t basically just Laurie/Savage/Walsh in a better team

He’s good but I don’t want him as our starting FB

Dykes has his running ability but looks closer to kennedy passing ability

It's hard to compare Miller and Kennedy. It's like comparing Nicho with a controlling halfback. But there doesn't seem to be a lot between them, in so far as our performance with each in... From a very small sample size, it has to be said.

It feels like Miller could have a higher ceiling, he's so dynamic and always seems to be looking to be involved, which he has over Kennedy. And Miller is a proven athlete at an elite level already.
But he's also 28 and unfortunately we wouldn't get the return we'd need from the year or two investment needed to develop him to the level.

I'm glad he's ours, but wouldn't back him over Kennedy.

Yeah I dunno. Kennedy swinging around at pace is something pretty special. Dunno if it's a fitness thing but he does lack the sort of one percenters that a Barba would do.

Probably doesn’t do drugs or beat women though so you win some you lose some
