Looks more of a fullback than winger to me anyway. Hope he gets plenty of open space.
Yeah was going to say the same sort of thing. Im not concerned in the slightest that he’s playing fullback this week. Suits him more then winger anyway. I’ve got faith in Lachie.

Would love to convert him to a full time winger or that utility off the bench.

I’m a Trindall fan but Trindall is a 7 so in the side for 80 or playing for the Jets at the moment.

Miller has more X factor and would be great off the bench if no spot free on the run on side.

He was great, really showed those Rugby 7's chops with all that footwork. Keep him in the team while he is high on confidence, Dykes will have his time though Dykes will also be confident after his last game but not sure when back and if he will be a bit ginger post injury

Nice little grubber as well from Miller, think he did one last week from the wing as well. oh that was a kick inside for a try but yea all the same he got all the rugby league skills it seems

I'll go against the grain here, reminds me on Katoa a few years ago. Breaks a million tackles but doesn't go forward enough.

Does have a crack though

I see what you mean. I think it is up to our coaching staff to find ways to use his agility to our advantage. Maybe quick offloads?

his tackle breaks presented him as a danger and many of them he continued to make a few more metres forward progress afterwards - he was quality and it was more advantagous than what Katoa used to give us some of the time a few years back. That's how I saw it anyway

Lachie must be spewing we don't talk about the Olympics anymore though

Its going to be bloody hard for us to keep a hold of this guy in the coming years. He’s too good to be playing third string fullback.

I don't care about metres gained with fullbacks and wingers. And most of his tackle breaks were going sideways, like Kotoa three years ago .
Set up 1 of Ikuvalu’s tries with his grabber and he had the previous weaving run followed by a quick play the ball for another 2nd half try.

Personally I think you are being a bit harsh, but you are entitled to your opinion as am I.

Agree. I think leaving Ikuvalu on the wing this year will be better value overall compared to Miller once Dykes or Kennedy return.
