Short, agile and elusive - doesn't look as quick off the mark or in open space as Gards though the field was water logged

Looking forward to his performances when he is ready :)

Will be a bit more pressure and expectation on him now though

In his defence .
He did say as soon as he took off he could feel his leg/s cramping
BIG Effort

Should be on the bench ahead of Trindall.

Different story when Jesse comes back. If Sifa stays in the centres then I think Tracey still gets the bench spot. Can't push him out after one or two decent games.
Totally agree he should be on the bench as backs and halves cover, ahead of Trindall. For me, I'd have Sifa playing in the middle while Finucane is away, with Tracey and Ramien centres. My only thought is where Miller plays when he does come on as 14.

Similar to what we use Tricky for?
There both somewhat Nuggety guys, I think Miller could handle the defensive side of things in the shorts stints Fitz plays Trindall.
I’m guessing Miller & his footwork, especially on a dry day would be a big concern for the opposing tiring forwards

Just heard Lachie will be on Sports today on 2GB interviewed by Mark Levy. Sometime between 6pm and 7pm.

Dude is inspirational look at the local crew who came up to watch him and the reactions from the team when he scored. Can't remember a more exciting debut since Jack Bird came on and carved the Roosters up.

On in a min or so (~ 6:45 EST)
To be honest, it wasn’t much.
A lot of what he said was similar to his jumper presso and his press conference on the sharks website.
Just that last week he got a call saying he wasn’t playing but this week the call was that he was playing.
The fact that Fitz was the only one to really show any interest in signing him. He was grateful for the op.
The 2GB team (with Slater) asked if he was likely to keep his spot in the 1 but he said Will
Is back and has been one of the form FB’s in the comp so not likely in the starting side.
They also mentioned that if he wasn’t on other teams radars he will be now.
That’s really about it from memory (sorry, that’s all I can recall).

Agree he looks good but he's played one game, let's not get too carried away.
Yeah I am finding the hype a little bit much. He played great but he did a lot of stepping (a bit predictably off right foot), and not a lot of setting up his teammates. He threw one cutout when it probably wasn’t needed (though beautiful passing technique) and a hospital pass to Wilton at the end. His try was scored off a bomb he let bounce.

It was great to see his complete lack of nerves (e.g. wanting ball in the last minute), and I think he has a lot to offer. I just don’t want the Jeckyll and Hyde reactions from Sharks supporters if he doesn’t do the same next game! (after opposition does a video session on him)

Now now SF.
With all of the injuries the incumbent NSW Origin backline has been experiencing and Freddie’s obsession with filling his backline full of fullbacks, surely Lachie and Will are certainties.

That was my biggest issue with him when watching the game but I put it down to him wanting to prove himself in his first and maybe only chance. I am hoping that he will be more balanced going forward.

I did find it funny how one of the jurnos in the press conference asked Fitz whether Will could miss out this week.

Yep.
The incumbent (one of the “rated” young FB currently in the NRL) is due back.

Do you think you will keep your spot?
ahhhh, that would be a no, but maybe there is a bench spot open for me!
