No conflicting reports. Sharks top 30 is full. He isn't in it.
Stonestreet took spot #30.

Likely sportingnews just read his signing statement, saw "full time squad" and assumed that meant top 30.our top 30 has one spot in it, this was also released before we signed max and daniel

Stonestreet was upgraded in to top 30.
If anything, Bradbury and Atkinson are the ambiguous ones. Originally they appeared in the 30 on nrl.com back in Feb but now showing as dev list.
Perhaps conveniently our own website has exactly 30 players listed https://www.sharks.com.au/teams/?competition=111&team=500028
Iro, Finau and Stonestreet are all not in this list, Puru is.
No guarantee it is correct of course, in fact it presumably isn't, I did think I'd seen Puru was to be upgraded next year.

If @snowman reckons we have exactly one spare spot (I assume the source is internal at the Sharks) for mine that means one of Atkinson/Bradbury is dev list. Anything could happen on any given day though. Iro could be in Fitz's office signing an upgraded 2023 contract as we speak.
I guess we will all just keep going around in circles on this for the next 10 weeks, and then it won't matter

That's a good catch actually. I don't think (if he was top 30) we could argue Atkinson isn't a half, so if it is between Atkinson and Puru it must be Puru who is in top 30. Tracey was already in extended bench. Suggests as per Sharks site Puru may be the guy?

Or both Atkinson and Puru are dev, and the Sharks got permission to list one of them. That would align with NRL.com

its neither a or b here
puru is a dev deal and was named in the extended bench but was never going to get picked so it doesn't matter
its only when you start trimming the fat of the squad that you have to seek permission but even then if they aren't intended to play, you dont need it
if you only have 18 first graders available, you can name 5 sg ball players on the extended bench
