Is Taukamos injury from trying to save that try in the world cup? shoulder? pec?
Yeah, not sure if it was ever clarified which it was. Dislocated shoulder he'd probably be back soon, pec could be end of this month, early next month I'd think.
Yeah. Haven't seen an official update, but he posted pictures of the scar on his Instagram, and he was wearing a sling in the training photos from early December.

He can play fullback, but in NSW Cup whenever they needed someone they would leave him at centre and Hiroti would play FB.
Good to hear. I guess he was killing it at centre. Hopefully they change that policy this year.

Great, so Kennedy has even more reason now not to put his body on the line in defense. I would be worried if I am thin air cause it gunna be getting tackled all day

But if Tracey ends up our fb our season is done

Can’t say I agree really Gards…

Chances are he will be clasping at thin air all season, going off last season.

I tend to agree mate .
I reckon we'd be forced to reshuffle if we lost Kennedy .
Ronnie might just be the man for the job if we left Nicho in the halves .
Main thing Ronnie might lack is a passing game
He did play Fullback for QLD Junior Origin.

The NEW fella isn't that small either to bolster backline one day.

I don’t know why people keep trotting this one out. The selectors screwed up. Ronnie drew the short straw. He did a passable job in one game on short notice, but you can’t compare that to someone who has his opposition study video all week to find his weaknesses.

Miller also lacked a passing game.

I reckon if Kennedy doesn't work out, we give Ronnie a go at Fullback.

Some comparisons between the 2

Chiming into the backline - Have to give that one to Kennedy. Had plenty of experience and looks dangerous when he's on, good passing game.
Running the ball back - Ronnie for mine, and looks more likely to break the line.
Under the high ball - WK is ok, but Ronnie is better, has a great leap.
Big match experience - Ronnie is a test player now. Watch some of his games for NZ in the World Cup.
Passion - Ronnie by a country mile
Speed - I reckon Ronnie. Seems to have got faster in the last year or so, and scored some great runaway tries.
Defence - don't know and don't care what the stats might say, but lets just say that WK thinks that the NRL is a touch footy comp.

Hopefully WK has improved and worked on a few things in the off season, especially defence. Obviously we give him the first 5 or so games and see how he goes.
I have no doubt that Ronnie could learn to play FB quickly if required, and we have a few other guys in our squad that can play wing.

Ronnie does have a very good leap, but kennedy is pretty darn good under the high ball. I never worry about him catching bombs.

Not sure about Ronnie in attack but **** me he will put in 110% effort on defence and make 10 x the tackle’s Kennedy would.
His kick returns would be huge, and be vocal at the back.
