I agree let him go and as part of the deal secure Jr Sau.....I'd also go for Dave & Tony Williams, A.Fifita and B.Kite...... and secure B.Roberts..i dont think we are in the position to sign a halfback so give up now...
on the rumour front im hearing J.Mannah is gone to dogs swap deal with Roberts...

This was posted in the Kade Snowden Thread.

I'm not sure how good a source Puma had for this or anything but I would be EXTREMELY PISSED OFF if that is the case.

:take that

I admire him for what he went through, but he only a "good" if at best footballer. No huge loss.

As Snowman said "meh"

I dont fear a cleanout at our club, the only players i would keep would be;

P Gallen (of course)
J Smith
K Snowden (If we can?)
W Graham
A Kelly (hopefully, sign him up now!)
J Williams
J Morris
A Tupou
N Gardner
C Best
B Wright
M Wright
S Vave
J Cordoba

They are the only players i would make sure we sign up before seasons end. Flanagon can build a side around them for sure. You dont need superstars to succeed.

Just look at St George, with the right coaching average players can become very good!!

Wow, the once "most feared foward pack in the game" Is slowly depleting.

The thing is, with another pre season in Jonny Mannah, I really feel he could become a very good foward.

So why is he leaving i wonder? Do you guys think the dogs with the forward pack they have already, offered him an upgrade on what he was on here?

Why go there to play behind Tolman, Graham, Hodgson, Armit? Makes no sense why they would even look at him!

Yes that is odd. Surely Mannah knows the props at that club and he still signed with him. I wonder if he got any other offers.

IF it's true... I honestly think he would have stayed if we had wanted him, and pretty sure he would have got the quiet word a long time back.

For me, I think he could still be good, but it's hard to manage a player, when you have that sort of history of having to be loyal/nice to him.

It is a shame that we are losing him, but if the club sees more potential in another player, then why are we not playing them now? Is Mannah just a stop gap solution until someone like Vave or Clayton steps up?

not impressed by Mannah to be honest. To cumbersone and offers little in attack by ways of passing and offloading.

our club did the right thing to stick by him.
let him walk away from the club that gave him support and an opportunity :)
let him have it on his conscience.
