Not to defend him too much because I did find that performance extremely frustrating but

I thought minor increase in execution and whole nother story, one flick 6 inches higher & one pass 6 inches lower and Katoa strolls in for two.
Now he didn’t get those balls out especially catchable so still a negative but **** if he can nail the execution on them going forward he’ll be right back in our good books.

His certainly not a reason we are playing like ****, he creates space and chances more times than not. Plus is a great 1 on 1 defender

Just some better pass decisions and execution- hopefully Hannay has a word with him about playing centre 😂😂

I love his aggressiveness and energy but it comes across a bit uncontrolled. If he can keep it under control, he is easily one of the best.

what is the reason for being on report? because he pushed the marker and said some words?

I thought he wacked some bloke in air/or high and was lucky that was the thing not on report. Refs were leniant with the high contact compared to how pedantic they were early season and last year. We are seeing them start to let certain things go but it's random it depends on the ref and the game

we are a better team with Jesse in it, I love how fast and hard he runs onto the ball and that big step back on the inside into the defense , has a good palm off too.

I think this is the best his defense has looked of any season he has played. Has learned to trust his inside and outside defender and doesn't rush out of the line into no mans land any where near as much and if he does he tends to make the tackle

Though he did rush up once tonight and didn't find the ball carrier and I think a ruck or 2 later Titans broke away up field and put a try on us. Not all on him but I think it got our defensive set a bit out of joint.

I know Jesse loves to run the ball into defenders and try to break through but he has to learn when is the time to do that and commit the tacklers to get the offload away and when passing early to Katoa is the better option.

We saw ball hogging from a number of sharks today including Kennedy and Sifa when there was a good open option on the outside that had a good chance of being trys

He's a marked man by the judiciary now.

In saying that. I think the penalty was ridiculous and being put on report was even more ridiculous.

If he cops a suspension for that then the NRL has to do something about players with the ball attacking the head, something which doesn't seem to be on their radar at the moment.
Not to mention players kicking out with their studs when they're trying to get a quick play the ball.

If he cops a suspension after what Kaufusi did with his elbow, then the NRL is corrupt

Dale Finucane knows Kafusis's elbow well, along with Walker.

Dale copped a hard forearm to the head in yesterday's match. nothing comes of it thank goodness. But when I saw it - I thought here we go again!. another HIA.

I take it that's why Dale was bleeding around the mouth area
