Broncos see Cobbo as a long term fullback. Not a centre.
Yes and it may work out that way but sometimes it doesn't. Lomax springs to mind, didn't work at FB but very strong centre, maybe even in eggs top 20.

Whatever he ends up with good chance he's pretty damaging at it if he can keep building on what he's done so far.

Maybe - but was selected as a squad Centre in QLD under 18's a few years ago

BUT , did move to fullback last year Q Cup

“Growing up, I was a big boy and I played in the forwards – all the way up until under 14 and then I shot up and lost all the baby fat; and then they put me out in the centres; so I started playing centres, and I started playing fullback last year.

Got Xavier Savage down as a centre too and he's definitely not a centre in NRL

Jesse was a big part of our early season success. Gave us a genuine power option in attack out on the right and he rattled blokes with his defense. We shouldn't underestimate his contribution and importance to this team.

Now that entire edge is light weight guys and Nikora and Tracey rarely create opportunities with the ball or make a line break. Katoa has struggled outside those 2 as well

The only threat we really have in our backline now is Sifa but he is often getting shut down. Ronnie is going well but feeds of what Sifa does with the ball. Kennedy is more of a passing link man in the backline sweep plays which we hardly can execute properly anymore and teams have figured them out.

We can't afford Jesse to get himself suspended again. His absence is probably costing us a try or 2 a game (conceded or scored - either which way)

Centre is a position that seems to be making bit of a comeback, for a while it was all about having gun wingers who could finish
Can’t believe there is still people who think you don’t need a strike centre to win the comp

Wherever they are playing in Q Cup - that’s where the Broncos want them. It’s part of the deal with their feeders. “If we send you a bloke, we tell you where to play them”.

I’d also guess that at least 20% of NRL players are currently plying their trade in a position they weren’t playing at 17.

Andrew Fifita was a winger. So was Matt Gillett.

Lots of players from the Sharks top 30 wee playing other positions when they were younger. Fifita, Kennedy, Williams, Tracey, Graham, Berrell to name a few.

Gee we missed him the past few weeks. Great game.

Although I am worried he hasn't learned a dam thing after his first tackle today.

he plays aggressive, it might be hard to have it both ways with how strict NRL has become on contact but hopeful Fitz can find the way for him to channel it. Might have to learn for us to take the good with the sometimes bad

Might not have been at his absolute damaging best tonight but boy what a difference it makes having him in the team. Such a threat before the line and rarely gets dominated in the tackle

Makes you realise how ineffective Tracey is at centre doesn’t it

Number 2 centre in the team.
Centres DON'T like opposing him.
Has silly mistakes in him but terrorises on his day in atrack .
We are a way more dangerous team when he is playing

Tracey is one of my favourite players in the team but yeh Jessie makes a huge difference.

To me Tracey is like a Swiss army knife . Yeh the pull out screw driver or knife isn't as good as the actual ones but can really get you out of a bind when you are stuck.

Mcguver or the A-team could do something special with Tracey.

Could have set Katoa up for at least 3 more. Also had a few very borderline shoulders. If he could do the little things right he'd be a top 5 centre.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's the most frustrating player in this team. So many dumb decisions.
