not sure what is expected of him, he is giving it alot breaking tackles and offloading, wacking in defense - in a team with a very inexperienced and patch work spine with a mediocre second row. he can't break the line and race away for trys every week. yes handling still lets him down a bit at times

he's actually looked most consistent in season 2021 compared to previous years in terms of effort . our team and attacking structures are built around getting outside the last defender and setting up our wingers (like alot of teams) there isn't that much given to Ramien so he has resorted to being a hit up battering ram, well hey fans said they wanted him more involved here it is.

if you want to talk about problem players take a look over at our other centre

Ramien is the least of our issues

Agree. Our main problem is our middle defence in failing to stop offloads and the lack of them offloading ourselves.

Even our halves look better when we do get a roll on.

loving the big efforts and involvement from Jesse in attack and defense - the opposition team knows he is out there every week he takes the field that's for sure.

but when you have one of the games best finishers outside you probs don't need to hog the ball and go yourself quite as much or push that pass when it becomes too late

still having a much better year than most give him credit for and those little on the run decisions can be worked on

He’s a strong carrier of the ball, does come up with the odd stand out play defensively, But FMD if this guy could just learn to draw and pass …. or even just pass he would be next level.

However as it stands with his decision making on when to cut back in, stay outside, run the ball or pass- well its so poor it’s costing us points every game and he’s very replaceable at the moment ( albeit not with anyone from our squad)

Really?
I thought Herbie had him mostly covered, I rate Herbie, would go really well in a good team & be a standout even more.

He contained Herbie just as well too, Ramien gets the edge though for the try he scored.

Was an enthralling battle, and totally agree that Ramien got him on points. It went a lot way towards deciding the winner of the game

Probably lucky with that. Thank goodness though because we didn’t need Chambers or a second rower back in the centre’s for us
