Outside of the bone headed penalty, I thought his most egregious performance was his lack of commitment on the Raiders first try.

Wighton pushed past Hynes, but also crossed the face of Ramien who gave no attempt and then a pitiful attempt of covering and chasing.

No, the original one about everyone being a donkey
I don't think they're all donkeys. There are plenty of successful first grade NRL players who don't have much footy sense. There's no way they would have got to where they are without patient coaching.

numnuts moment!!!!

deadset. that is not good enough. little 1%ers - that **** is real. let the bugger catch the ball and then smash him. the timing was shot!

that's the sharks shyte Fitzgibbon needs to get rid of. that is the sharks of the past few years. bring the opposition right back in the game
Welcome Craig to the sharks!!!!

thats what I am thinking too, this crap can't be part of the Sharks style anymore. We need to move past the rubbish. If Fitz is for real he won't put up with it and will give Ramien a serious warning about controlling himself

yea his defense is still dodgy. he's strange he will make these big aggressive tackles (sometimes sticking and sometimes getting brushed away) and other times he looks like he just can't be bothered or doesnt care or gets caught in no mans land positioning wise (intentionally???)

he made a big tackle to end a raiders set in the first half but then he has a moment like you mentioned where he doesn't wanna chase

not every play has to be the big hit or barge over try Jesse - the stuff fans might not notice as much or doesn't get on the highlights reel still matters. he's not a rookie anymore either, he should be better than this

We really need to spend up on a centre for next year.

I don't think centre is where you want too much coin going these days but we do need someone that at least isn't a liability and can do the basics right

You definitely need a strike centre to win a premiership - whether Jesse wants to be that is up to him, needs the right coach to guide him out of the bullsht

Him giving up a penalty when we were up with not long to go is nothing new to Ramien, he did it last year as well, worryingly, l, just like last year we weren’t good enough & couldn’t defend a brain explosion

With respect…

There is no coach out there that has the tools required.

Ramien could be driven to Perth & back, sitting between Yoda & Gandalf in a EH Ute with no radio, and be told for 12,000 Kim’s on how to make smart decisions like an ET or Rogers. On return to Endeavour field, Jessie would then lace his boots on, walk into his next game, and do the same crap.

Yoda & Gandalf would lose their collective calm in the stands.

I am OK knowing Ramien is a flawed diamond; I take his strike power over a safe plodder who will never lose you a game, nor win it.

Fun comment GF78, but the problem is Jesse hasn't been winning us games either.
