I don't think you're miles off by any means, I think maybe just maybe a little underestimating.
Like if Ramien is only being offered 350k, Perth should be able to beat that by a 100k given their squad status. He's still way better than Vea'ila I expect, and they signed him. I'd say better than Russell and I don't really know the pom.
Perth is even closer to Bali so that's gotta be worth something to Jesse! Of course, nobody really knows. His missus could have family up NQ way or something which would be highly valuable and make that destination more attractive.
Maybe they are both seen as washed backups.

The worst part of it all is I can just imagine Sione continuing the Cowboys tradition and 'Felting' us with some freakish tries that make us look like idiots. he has the gymnastics to pull it off.

Yeah, it's impossible to know what deals each was offered. Given our need for turnover though, I'd suspect ours may have come with no guarantee of first grade and lower value. Maybe there was a higher chance elsewhere?

I agree on Perth, the cows deal feels exactly like what Perth should be offering (but slightly higher), but maybe the increased chance to remain in a competitive side was attractive enough?
 
I've been a critic of him at times, but I've enjoyed watching him play for us. I believe he’s had some games where he was incredibly destructive on that right-hand side. There was a game against Canberra a few years back, and he was outstanding. I'm sad to see him go. All the best, Jesse!!!
 
I'll add something out of left field - he wouldn't have outplayed Jack Bird or Ricky in 2016. Not even close. Just pointing that out...

Jesse's best was better than Ricky's, but Ricky was so safe and disciplined. Ricky was exactly what we needed in that squad.

Jesse's best is so random. Yes he has been a better strike centre in a completely different team / environment (won't talk about draw and pass ability), but no way we win that game with him in the team.

Ramien was a game or two from Origin selection a few years ago and him being injured that year put a huge dent in our finals campaign.

It's such a shame he didn't continue that trajectory.

Yeah same, personally aside, he never learnt, at his best, a bloody good centre but get him to do a simple draw & pass, not to do repetitive stupid stuff, a more frustrating is hard to find.
 
Has to be our dumbest player by a country mile.

We talk about attitude problem.
He screams Josh Dugan similarities.
