Gotta look to the future. Hes gotta look out for his.

I think we’ve seen him at his best and the negative things in his game (getting lost in goal line defence and ball hogging like nothing else) are that ingrained in his game we cant get them out. Time to look at new blood

I don't really have a big issue with him in those areas.
It's the dumb mistakes for me, and you wouldn't even need to reduce them that much to get a really good centre out of him

I think at this point of his career, he should be better in those areas and hes never improved in that way at all.

Love his hit up and the occassional barge over try.

If someone was willing to pay him more than us, im happy its them paying him.
 
Hope Fitz has a plan as I don’t see anyone ready for next year to take the spot

Yeah agreed. He would have taken a reduced deal there, and I'm sure we could have afforded that if we wanted to.

It may still have been more than what we offered, but it wouldn't have been near what he's on IMO. I reckon they've picked up both for close to what it would have taken to keep Taulagi.

Interesting, I’m not sure, I reckon, at best, both of them combined would be costing Cowboys 600k, more likely 650k, surely Taulagi wasn’t on that?

Whilst they have a quick backline atm, having Jesse & Sione there or as starters will definitely bring them back to the field more for pace.
That said, they have picked up two very good & proven ball carriers from the red zone plus they have a combo that knows each others games inside out.

He's not, but I'd expect he's looking for somewhere between 5-600k for this contract. And for a team that struggled for depth in the outside backs 2 for the price of 1 (or close enough) isn't a bad deal.

It'll be interesting to see where they play. Obviously both right side players for us but the Cows are losing their left edge.

Yeah. Value is subjective. Both parties could be making the correct call.

A bit like the Chad move. Sharks fans said it was crazy money but Payten said after the 3 years that Chad did the exact job they brought him there to do, and said it was money well spent.

With respect to Sione & Jesse, they aren’t skillful players, more explosive, strength & power packed.
I think Chester & Burns would adapt far better to a move from right side to left side than our two, Cows would be crazy to try & convert them.
