Official Jesse Ramien

A couple of mistakes but also two huge plays in the last 10.
The one where he picked the ball off the ground and ran for 30 meters and a tackle with Hynes close to the line to shut the Raiders down.

In conclusion, some good, some bad... par for the course.

Wasn't our worst centre today

First time for everything

Difference between Iro and Ramien is that I bet you Iro is hurting from that and will be determined to make it right and it’ll be a while before we see it again

As for Ramien you don’t expect that. You expect him to do the same stuff next week

There will be teething pains with Gabrael but I look forward to something different

Yeah agree. I love KL, he will come good.

Agree on KL. He certainly has a lot more rope to work with than Ramien.

Would you be bringing in Gabrael now? I don't watch him enough to make that call, but I have reservations about bringing a rookie into that edge that's already getting targeted. I would lean more towards Hiroti if we wanted an immediate change.

Rather blood him round 5 than wait til round 25

Maybe. Again, i'll defer to those who watch him more closely. We know we missed the top 4 last year due to dropping a few games we should have won. I'd prefer not to risk that happening again by blooding a player for the sake of it.

If he can perform better than Jesse, I'm all for it, but otherwise I'm happy for his debut to happen organically.

"I was watching the game with some ex-NRL players yesterday and they were all saying, 'Look at how hard Jesse runs. Look at how hard Jesse hits.' They couldn't talk highly enough of him."

Never seen anyone say he’s not strong enough

Issue is just the mistakes. Make a decent dent in those he’s a quite good centre.

I’d still take him above some other centres, but when we are looking for ways to get ahead of a Penrith or a Storm I just think that’s a spot we can improve as getting someone almost as good that makes far fewer mistakes seems doable.

How is Stevie Wonder doing these days?

In fairness, his toughness has never been the issue. It's the dumb mistakes he makes
