Sacked from the Cowboys today for drink driving.

Oh Jimmy. 🤦‍♂️
Cowboys won't be signing any more 2016 Premiership winners!

You have to wonder if it's partly an excuse to end something that wasn't working. Still wouldn't mind seeing him work as a halves consultant for us.

Well considering they cut him loose so quickly it does sound like there were more issues that meet the eye. I’d make sure he has life together before considering offering him any kind of work here.

Has ever finished a contract?

I knowdrink driving is a very bad thing, but it smells like he was an annoying ****, and they couldn’t wait to get rid of him.

Pretty much like the way it ended at all the clubs he played at.

I get the attractiveness of his playstyle and if he can mentor that on to our halves
But the guy is clearly a pain in the arse
Is it worth bringing that into our environment? It could be - but at the same time it definitely may not be - he has been with them less than one season.

I don't imagine we are sacking our assistants anytime soon - especially while going "well" (I know we don't all always agree on that bit)
DJ is our halves coach and him and Fitz are great personal mates so I doubt we'd see him moved on for Maloney.
Which would mean sacking Hannay, our attack coach, who has us sitting on the same points scored despite rarely having our two first choice halves out there together.
