been told he will be at the warriors for the remainder of the season on loan to cover fus and ken
As long as they know it is a "loan deal only" and he is definitely due back when required this year or end of season at the latest!

Good stuff look forward to seeing him. Great to get him some game time and NRL experience without the risk.

Josh Dugan has again failed to overcome his hamstring issue and was taken out of the side after the Captain’s run today, while his centre partner Jesse Ramien suffered a similar injury in the win over the Dragons and will also miss the game.

Both were given every opportunity to prove their fitness for tomorrow night’s match however the pair came up just short, with medical staff confident they will be available for the Sharks round 13 match against the Eels.

Dugan’s replacement will be Siosifa Talakai, the versatile former Rabbitoh having done an outstanding job in a number of positions, including on a handful occasions in the backline this season, while youngster Jackson Ferris comes into the team for what will be his NRL debut.

Recruited from New Zealand as a 16 year-old, the now 21-year-old Ferris has since come through the Sharks system, playing for the Newtown Jets in 2019 before earning this opportunity in the top grade.

Another debutant in Braydon Trindall has been added to the interchange bench for what would also represent his first game in the top grade.

Primarily a half back, Trindall also has some experience as a hooker and could be used to give Sharks number nine Blayke Brailey a spell should there be a need.

Woohoo!!!! Congratulations Jackson Ferris.

For those counting (which is probably only me) that makes TWELVE players across the 2017 and 2018 under 20’s who have now made it to first grade. That is a frikkin’ spectacular conversion rate for development of young talent.

Haha I was counting earlier. I counted these ten debutants under John Morris:

William Kennedy
Sione Katoa
Jackson Ferris
Ronaldo Mulitalo
Braydon Trindall
Blayke Brailey
Briton Nikora
Toby Rudolf (not NYC)
Teig Wilton
Billy Magoulias

The other NYC players would be Jesse Ramien, Jack Williams, and Flanagan?

You missed Xerri. Jack Williams played NYC for Canberra.

Also ...

Carr, Vasquez, Willy Williams, Tevaga, Hazelton and Raper are all still on the books from 2017/18. Vasquez and Tavaga have the best shot at NRL.

The only player who has left and debuted for another team is Jaeman Salmon
