are you friends with Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks on facebook, or Sharkies leagues club. I got an event invite from Sharkies early last week, for Sunday to come down and watch the game during the afternoon.

I saw something similar on the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks page earlier in the weekend and on game day too.

Nah, the wife is, she never got anything

Also being a member of the club I didn't get any emails.

There was something put on a web page somewhere, but 3 hours before kick off is a little fine if you ask me.

Anyway I've had a couple of Southo's and coke so I've moved on.

Thanks Snowie for mom info, cheers

Maybe the club was treating it like all our FG Grand Finals and not expecting us to actually win...

Well the team played for each other and their coach and won it for each other - good for them

As the commentator said, a GF win is special no matter what grade/comp your in. Some might not get another so lap it up boys, you deserve it

A very poor effort from the club. How Hard would it be to FB or twet $3 beers at the club and a big screen.
i was their got a seat no problem, and at the end i asked the staff if they could they could play up up Cronulla, they tried their best to find it, but couldn't play it.
so i got up on the dance floor(pissed) and sang it my self. and sort of got the crowed into it.
then went to the after match function with the players, no club officials were present.
and was horrified that at the clubs annual Grand final luncheon , they didn't show off our NSW cup side.
please promise me, we aint back to the chook rafle days,

The trophy the nsw cup team won is sitting on the reception desk as you walk into the leagues club.
A very impressive trophy.
