Forwards have beaten the crap out of each other and both teams have kept intensity up all game. We need to watch this and do the same if we want to win a finals game.

Can someone tell me why the incident of foul play that got Joey Manu sin binned didn't result in a penalty try , it happened on top of the try line with no other players close .

Yeah. He milked it, but the runner stopped in the line. Can’t do that. We’ve seen far less penalised.
It is supposed to be black and white. Inside shoulder or stop in the line = no try. The rule doesn’t include a provision for “he was milking it” or “yeah it was the inside shoulder but he wouldn’t have gotten him”.
The black and white ruling which is applied 95%+ of the time says no try.
Realistically I did think if not grabbed he takes a couple more steps and is through the line.
Probably see a very similar one ruled no try this weekend because it’s black and white…

Was watching with the sound muted. Definitely looked like a no try for mine given everything we've seen. What were they saying in commentary?
Hard to keep up with the NRL, they just make **** up as they go.
Basically surprised it wasn’t taken away based on the rules being explained as black and white
