Game on NOW Thread

This game is so much better, more exciting to watch! However I will say this, the referees miss so many calls, I really think that was a forward pass by Manly haha.

I watched it a couple of times and still and still don’t know what Crossland did to get Cody so angry that he still wouldn’t shake his hand after the game.

I don’t want our guys acting anything like Cody Walker.

Fair enough. I get there’s levels to it and Cody could’ve still shaken his hand after the game but I mean the whole standing over players while they are on the ground yelling at them, I like to see the team stand up for their teammates.

It reminded me of when Mahoney was in Kaufusi’s face and no one did anything. Just copped it.

And I’m not saying that I want the players to behave like Cody in general (because I find him one of the grubbiest players), but in certain instances need players to stand up to them as well.

I get what you’re saying, I’d like our whole team to raise the anger levels a little bit. But Ronnie is the only one in our squad who has that in him (and people usually complain about it).

You can arch up but a lot of the time it's likely to go against you more often than you'd hope.

Trindall got in a shoving match with May and got a penalty out of it, despite shoving first (in reaction to having his jersey pulled over his head).
Probably a little lucky to win a penalty. Very easily could have been play on, or even a chance ref says he shoved first and instigated it.

I remember Royce got pushed over in the back off play by Horse two or three seasons back. Got up and while Horse hid behind his half took a swing/slap at him, and got binned for it. Still gets clowned on for that.

Not to mention most of the time there's a push and pull pile because someone flexed on someone, or got in their face, fans and commentators complain about it anyway because nobody is throwing punches.

Reed Mahoney is one of the biggest idiots in the current game, he makes me embarrassed to be from QLD! No reason for him to go into everyones/former team mates face after he scores, (Kaufusi) then have a big go at Crighton yesterday after they win. There is a difference between being an idiot doing that, then just a fun bit of friendly banter with former team mates/mates. One of the biggest idiots in the game.

He is an idiot though.

I thought Ronnie started going down that path a a few years ago but Fitz has reigned it in a bit. They have both said as much.
