Official Game Day Experience

Pretty hard to accurately judge from your couch
I could hear the crowd in the other 3 games. Had no problem hearing when the Raiders crowd went from silent to cheering throughout the match. It felt and looked like a tennis crowd sitting in silently watching until the ball went out and then giving a little round of applause.

I didn't make the march, but it was awesome hearing it come into the ground, I thought it was the Storm supporter group it was so loud.

Well done @Gumby and the Shark Cage.

I think the Shark Cage was the best thing to happen to the club this year. Brilliant work by Tim and the crew. The perfect mix of being loud and passionate, but not being ********s or causing trouble.

The noise and atmosphere in the Sharks bays last night was awesome (at least until it wasn't!).

Good of the team to come over to the bays at the end. There was a lot of tears amongst them.

All you hear the whole first half is chatter... I know it's a chicken-egg thing, but it would be hard for the players to be fired up by that.

They didn’t even have the small beer bar under the Monty porter stand open - just a sign up saying closed today.

I’ll jump over and serve myself if they can’t afford the staff
this club is a shambles

That was weird I saw it before the game, it didn’t open up later? It was particularly strange as they had two people behind the table. Must be some reason…

Bar lines were pretty light still today relatively

Vibe was great in Rd 1. They came out flat as **** and the crowd responded IMO.

Agree - Crowd atmosphere was flat from the start , a lot different to Rd1 .

The inbox announcers only tried to gee up the crowd a couple of times when we were attacking which wasn't often last night . We needed it when team was defending on the try line.

Only thing flatter than crowd atmosphere last night was the energy of most of the players & most notably Brailey.

It’s a morgue mate. We seriously do not know how to cheer for our team.
All the kids are too busy doing laps in their midriffs, looking at each other's midriffs to notice the game.

I like that it's such a social outing, but geez guys, give them team a little acknowledgement every now and again!

1. Get bangable fences at the south end.
2. Get rid of the corporate marquee in the nor-west corner (will happen once we get the ground back to "normal".
3. Turn the Chinese restaurant into some kind of stadium bit. Corporate area, kids play area, bar, band stand, chill area. I don't know. it's such a waste when space is at a premium.
