Any other keen fisherman on here

I know ev is a big fisher but I've recently gotten back into fishing. I must say though fishing in sydney is no where near as good as the mid north coast

Went fishing in botany bay yesterday and only manged to catch a hand full of little snapper about 15 -20 cms long

I've done some fishing at Jerseyville under the bridge mate. No idea what I'm doing though, I've always been with keen fisherman at the time.

Yeah so I believe. My Uncle is a mad fisherman so knows all the good spots up there. He likes Hat Head.
my brother in law knows all the beach spots up there. Always comes back with a bucket of tailors. **** eating though

Plenty of good spots deep sea out side of South west rocks

I've never tried deep sea fishing, I'd probably puke. My Uncle has a boat but not sure where he goes. He was a member of the Telegraph Point fishing club, not sure if he still is.

I used to love fishing as a kid but not much now. Always went out in my grandfather's boat up at Pretty Beach on the Central Coast, but he always wanted to keep the boat moving, didn't have the patience to drop anchor and fish for a hour or so.

I remember back in the 90s fishing off the wharf at Scylla Bay near the Como Hotel one night with a handline and bringing up a huge mudcrab. We grabbed a net and pulled it in and my mates took him home, kept it alive until the next day and then popped in the pot and cooked it. I can't stand crab so I didn't partake but the guys said it was the best.

I'm a bit the same mate. We used to go to Sussex Inlet every year for our family holiday, absolutely loved it. Most of the time was spent fishing off the wharf or in a boat in St George's Basin. I'd cry as a seven year old when we had to come home. Haven't been down there for about 16 years now. My old man turns 70 this year so I'm taking him him down there for four nights staying at the same place. Fishing, beer and footy. What more could you possibly need?

It's a lovely spot HB. I remember going there too when I was around 4-5 years old. I've got friends who live there, retirees from the Shire who got away from it all a few years ago. I visit them sometimes if I'm doing a country trip down the South Coast.

Love fishing but I'm a terrible fisherman, never catch a thing.

For me it's all about having a few cold ones in a scenic location and donating bait prawns to various creatures of the deep.

Used to be into it heavily as a kid. Got a dozen or so trophies and plaques getting about from winning various comps. Hardly fished when I was in Brisbane but since I've moved back I've been out a few times. Just recently was off the rocks down near honeymoon bay. Absailed down the rocks to this pretty neat spot and picked up a few snapper and half a dozen kingies between me and dad. Got a red devilfish too which is amazing eating!!

Just weighed in a 9kg mulloway. Smashed the previous record of 4.5kg.
