Hey ladies and gents,

Will be speaking to club the next few days, and they are after your thoughts on the game day experience.

Game day experience could include the activities for kids, food, drink, shark tank, atmosphere, security, foul language by fans, social media, shark crew and so on.

If you want to provide a solution to the problem you have encountered, would be much appreciated.
(Please do not mention about team losing Or anything in that area).

Cheers

Matt

The bar lines before and during the game are still a joke mate and the crowd was small on Friday night. The club is losing money there, the extra sales would more than cover the additional hourly rate of more bar staff or just taking some time or $ to improve the process at the bars. I had to wait to half time just to buy a VB

Maybe somewhere separate at the ground or even on the Sharkies website where you can pre-purchase beer or alcohol tickets so when you get to the bar staff you just hand em your tickets and there is no fluffing about waiting to get change ect. Express lines for members or something as well. Just a few quick ideas

I think the members food line under the matty c stand was a good touch. Didnt use it, but noticed it wasnt as crowded as ive seen it before. Members beer line would be good. Perhaps a small members discount on beers etc too just to get them spending. Basically what you want is incentive to be a member. GA passes and flexi five offer you a small discount on tickets and a 10% merch discount (plus the voucher) you want the game day hospitality. Maybe lappies from the cheer girls? Let DJ have a tour of the dressing room while the boys shower. But yeah

- Members beer line or a members beer van
- Members food line
- The post game being members only is a good touch.

Basically you dont want people to say, why bother being a member to save $5 a ticket. You want them to leave the field as a non member and return the next game a member

Matty can you ask why there isn't a TAB van in the ground anymore, think it made 1 appearance last season.

Thanks, just checked.

Silly question, does anyone believe it is right for people to bag and swear at players while kids are around.
Should it be a more family friendly environment?

Not on the family hill and perhaps not in the posh stands but anywhere else on the ground it's game on I say

agreed, should only be banned from the family hill, you're not going to stop it anywhere else and you should expect the swearing at other parts of the ground if you take your kids there

Can you ask the club to not call a loss a "Highlights" package when they post it on the website! There are no "highlights" to a loss, especially in the way we are playing at the mo.
Maybe just call it a "Video review of our match" or something!

Seriously thou, Congrats for taking the bull by the horns and running with this initiative.
I'm sure this wasn't part of your job description when you volunteered to be part of all this.
Well done and keep up the great work trying to improve our club.

I reckon it's boring as ****. Footy is a **** game to watch in person especially with this joke of a team. Maybe if the bastards could produce some attacking football the games would be enjoyable.

As for all the other things: the place reeks of "poorly organised carnival".

Basically nobody is gunna get on here sooking about petty **** like beer lines or crusty food if we were winning. It just amplifies negativity. A win everyone goes home feeling good.
