Looks like United have decided to be a little bit smart for a change and do the obvious right thing and go for Eric Ten Hag as the new manager instead of Poch. He’s looking to bring Anthony and Timber with him to start with.

I like the appointment but the board HAS to get the **** out his and Rangnick’s way and let them work and do the rebuild. Whoever they want signed, sign them, whoever they want sold, sell them. The bankers need to finally stay away from the football decisions and let them work.

Will the owners and the board do that? History says no but in saying that, if they dont learn their lesson now, they never will.

Its off season time so lets bring this thread back. How about we throw done deals in here too.

• Ivan Perisic: Inter >>>>>> Tottenham. DONE DEAL.
• Jurrien Timber: Ajax >>>>>>> Man United (£30m) Apparently very close.
• Frenkie De Jong: Barcelona >>>>> Man United (£65m-£75m) Unlikely. Clubs have agreed fee but De Jong not convinced of the move due to no UCL. Ten Hag trying to change his mind, I dont think this one will happen.
• Darwin Nunez: Benfica >>>>>> EPL. A few clubs are keen. But Benfica’s £100m asking price is putting people off, this deal wont happen to any EPL club unless Benfica bring that price down significantly.
• Erling Haarland: Dortmund >>>>> Man City. DONE DEAL.
• Julian Alvarez: River Plate >>>>> Man City. DONE DEAL.
• Christopher Nkunku: RB Leipzig >>>>>> Man United. United keen and will make an offer, Leipzig really not keen to sell but could be talked into by Ragniack who has strong links to the club. Player wants the move. Could go for £55m.
• Konrad Laimer: RB Leipzig >>>>> Man United. 50/50. I hope this one happens. A solid CDM for only £25m. Player is apparently keen on the move, Ten Hag and Ragniack keen but higher ups still not sure.
• Dean Henderson: Man United >>>>>> Newcastle. This one is tricky. Both clubs want the move but Newcastle want a loan deal, United want to sell. Henderson wants to stay and fight for his place.
• Aaron Wan-Bissaka: Man United >>>>> Crystal Palace. A loan deal is looking likely. Ten Hag sees him as surplus and Palace would love him back. Player is open to the move. I hope it turns into a sale.
• Axel Tuanzebe: Man United >>>>> Brighton. (£15m-£22m) I hope this one happens, would be a good move for him to resurrect his career.

Antony: Ajax >>>>> Man United (45 mil Euros, dunno what that is in Sterling). This Brazilian international winger was a key player for Ten Hag at Ajax and probably their best player, looks like he wants to use Sancho on the left and bring in Antony for RW. I’d rate this one 65/35.

Wait, are you guys selling Minamino?

Has all the tools, I like him.
Looks like it. Think he wants more game time which he won’t get with us. Hearing 15mil for him , we only bought him for 7 so that’s a handy profit

So Barca has just had a financial windfall which means they wont have to sell De Jong on the cheap and De Jong’s 350k a week wage wont be cut by Barca down to 250k a week, which means United would have to pay him that too.

In my opinion, its time to walk away from this deal, as much as I like the player, just too many red flags popping up. United need a rebuild, which means 5 or 6 signings, not blow most of their budget on one midfielder.

Being a Gunners fan here, we've got Fabio Viera from AFC Porto & Marquinos from Sao Paulo. After those 2 official signings we've got Tielemans from Leicester then Gabriel Jesus from Man City. Not often we have 2 PL signings within the 1st week of the window.

Rumours for us to get Osimhen as another striker too. If we get Osimhen & Jesus as 2 strikers then that will be a better striker partnership then we have over the next few seasons.

he is a londoner, one year left on his deal and no signs from city they want to keep him

good move if he can get it

I don’t think anyone else has played for Liverpool, Man City (post oil blood money takeover, after the banter years) & Chelsea in recent times. Unless im missing someone obvious.
