Why sign a 6 year deal with no release clause?

He only has himself to blame

Got sold a vision of winning titles and regular Champions League football and Spurs have under delivered as per usual. Levy seems to be digging his heels in. City and Chelsea are the only clubs that seem to be able to meet the price Levy wants but Chelsea have gone quiet on him as they want Haarland instead and City are too busy with Grealish. This one could get ugly in a hurry.

Chelsea want Lukaku not Haaland - at the moment

Sorry I meant to put Lukaku, I got distracted and put Haarland instead for some reason.

Apparently a 100 mil bid has gone in, a lot of it will go to United, Inter still owe United 45 mil for the deal plus they have a sell on clause. Inter will be lucky to see half the fee.

Looks like Messi will be heading to PSG.

So in this window they’d have got:
Donnarumma
Ramos
Wijnaldum
Messi

ALL ON FREE TRANSFERS.

In saying that I’d imagine those agent fees and player wages would be higher on these sort of free transfers.

It would be so funny if PSG still don’t win the farmers league with all these signings. They now have a front 3 of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar….

It’s actually a shame for the game to have 3 of the very best attacking players in the world wasted in Ligue 1 (all for the same team….)

They’ll probably win the French league with their reserves to be honest.

Jack Wiltshire >>>>>>> Newcastle Jets is very possible. Wigan are keen as well though if he wants to stay in England, but in recent interviews he did say he wants a new challenge overseas and he did mention Australia. Hope Jets fans enjoy the 6 games he’d play, his glass legs would shatter on the harder Australian pitches.

DANIEL STURRIDGE >>>>>>>>>>> Perth Glory. DONE ****ING DEAL. The biggest name the league has signed since Del Piero, Honda and Diamanti, but closer to his prime. Still only 32 so does offer some value if they can keep him fit, which is the big question.
