Back in the day Caringbah used to give them a run for their money, I wonder if that's still the case.

From Endeavour Facebook...

Congratulations to Cruz Morris, Lenny Bucher, Chad Kamara, Cayden Cross, Jack McKevett, Cooper Shephard, Jett Nisbett, Nate Horsey, Jake Ossman, Mehmet Varol, Chace Nisbet, Cooper Rye, Austin Highett, Save Raicama and Hunter Stanley on their selection in the Sydney East 16s Rugby League team.

Most of these kids were in the HM's team.

Some highlights, Sorry - can't embed.

Watched the game on Kommunity TV. A very strong performance although St Greg's were just ok.

Some outstanding performances - Liam Challenor back to his best with one of the best kicking games you will see, he is such a calming presence on the field, was absolutely outstanding.

Other notable efforts - Jamie Curran very strong when on field, he has great carries and puts pressure on drawing in defenders. Billy Weber was also very, very good, playing on Challenor's side he was unstoppable at times. Boothroyd and Johnson both good as well. Brookfield also good, he and Challenor know each other well and are great foils for each other. Most Endeavour players were strong.

Thanks for the rundown. I haven't watched yet but will.

They are an interesting side this year - don't have the same stand out superstar type players as last year but seem to be gelling as a better "team". Time will tell when they come up against the star sides like Patrician Brothers Blacktown.
Challenor didn't get to show his talents in Ball this year - we can discuss the coaching all day - but he leads them around the field, kicking outstanding, and with his size (as a former lock) his defence is first class.
He, Curran and Wooldridge (he's not Endeavour) made CHS so hopefully a couple (or all) can be a chance for Australian Schoolboys.

Yeah agree.

I get it. Grantham is the older player signed for longer and in the NRL squad so they gave him the responsibility. They looked soooo much better in that final game with Challenor running the show though. It will be his team next year.

The two Queensland teams both have very good halfbacks too (Webb and Harris-Tevita). Challenor is as good on his day but those two are on NRL contracts and hyped as future superstars.

I really like Brookfield too. Small, but really skilled and he’s a tenacious defender. I hope he gets the #6 in SG Ball next year.

@Sharkstowin73 finally watched that round 2 game. That no-try call on Longbottom was a shocker. Still love that kid.

Challenor the straw that stirs the drink. Bateup very good. Sucks the Sharks don't have him.

Endeavour great on details. Exit sets very good.
