long old season the championship

some teams in there that are really struggling that shouldnt be

good to see qpr in 5th

Yep, understand what you mean but Bilic really has our guys purring.

He seems to have an answer for every situation.

Our only loss was against Leeds 1-0 but we had so much possession in the second half it was amazing we didn’t score or get the winner.

The squad is nicely balanced the only spot we probably need to strengthen is striker. Austin is the wrong side of 30, Zohore is slow and now injured and Robson-Kanu is strictly your sub with 10 to go guy.

Get a top class striker in January, keep a healthy roster and we will blitz the league.

If Man U get relegated then I’m doing a nudie run around Chad’s new pool.

Bit of a scare this morning though mate, we were at home to last placed Barnsley and they led for most of the match 2-0.

Luckily an own goal and a lucky header got us back to 2-2.

Like Snowy said, there are no easy games in the Championship.

Leeds only drew too so still on top by two points but it's a blown chance to go four points clear.

In your head, rent free
the championship is so unpredictable

last year qpr beat leeds at home then ended a drought of never winning at notts forest - both top teams

then got smoked at home by a cannon fodder team

No doubt it’s tough but looking at WBA’s team, it’s real solid. Then you have Bilic as coach, who I think is very good, too good for the championship.

Long season though

Big test this Saturday against Charlton. They're 10th but having a good year - they are only five points behind us.

Interesting to see how we bounce back.

Hull City 0 West Brom 1

Brilliant 25 yard strike from Livermore to get the win.

Unbeaten now in six games and top of the league by 2 points.

No real injuries at the moment and Slav is doing the business well.

Still need a better striker up front in the January window.

Only negative is talk that West Ham will recall Diangana in January which will be a blow.

Long way to go yet but we are looking the goods at the moment.

WBA unbeaten in 7 games now. Still on top by 2 points but more importantly in front of 3rd by 5 points.

And we did it on the weekend without both of our midfielders Sawyers and Livermore who were suspended for the game.

Still 3 tough games to come against Bristol City (7th), Preston NE (3rd) and Swansea (6th).

Would take 7 points here and that would still keep us top I reckon.

West Brom and Leeds to come up automatically.

Brentford to surprise everyone and pull of the 3rd playoff spot.

It's probably a fair bit early to be predicting now but if we had to go on current form I'd say Leeds & WBA 1st & 2nd. I'll go Nottingham as the 3rd from the play offs.

What do you all make of the Micheal O’Neill situation at Stoke? He’s really only just taken control of this once solid club that’s now in free fall but he’s already coping stick with people questioning his commitment as he’s juggling Stoke with the Northern Irish International job (which he’s doing a decent job with them by the way)

Do you think it’s possible to juggle both a club job and a national team job and be fully committed? I think it’s possible.

Nah, it’s not FIFA or football manager. It makes no sense to me.

I dunno, providing he has strong support teams for both I think it can be done. Especially since he’s managing a nation next door pretty much. If he was managing Stoke and, for example, Peru. Then yeah, it might be a bridge too far.
