They really need to put a TV up on the wall near the pop up bar behind ET that's near the entry to the corporate boxes.

You miss far too much football and wouldn't be that hard to do. If you can watch the game reasonably well lining up for a beer isn't that bad.

If part of your rant was in relation to my post, I'm not blaming the club for the escalation post Covid - I just disagreed with the statement of 'broken promises from developer and builder'

I'm pretty close to the construction side of things and can't tell you how tough this last stage has been - for every stakeholder.

Im talking about the media, buzz in particular

Yeah I don't know how we solve these.

I believe more space is coming back under the Peter Burns stand?

Only other options I can see without building work are to close the gym and convert it to food/beers, at least on gameday. Would require the team to train elsewhere though.

Or speed up the beer serving process, it's still inefficient. And people are still slow paying.

Maybe we can build more facilities under the Family Hill like a hobbit hole. I am not an engineer :)
If we have a centre of excellence thats 100% what that would become.

It's ridiculous and why I hardly ever go. You miss nearly a quarter of the game to get beers. Home semi v Roosters last year they closed the bar near the sheds 10 mins earlier than the sign said. The chick 'manager' was there and basically just said to me 'too bad'. They have zero idea how to keep the (beer drinking) punters happy and haven't for years.

They're atleast serving cans now which does make it faster. When they were serving them in plastic cups it was even slower.

Yeah I mean you'd also think with everyone paying via tap and go it should be pretty quick these days.

It's always been pretty ordinary there going way back to the 80s.

Monty Porter Stand
I remember last year there was one game where the lines were atrocious. The next game Dino and others went around and the ground and monitored and helped out (plus I imagine more staff were put on), and it all went a lot better that night.

Maybe the late crowd turn-out didn’t help, possibly not as many staff as were needed. Or maybe the operations just need more attention.

The Great Northern can-only stand in front of Monty Porter works pretty well, except the queues really cause a mess for people trying to walk around

It seemed from the line I was in atleast that the staff operating the touch interface was not completely fluent with it and certainly played a part in the speed of the line. Aside from the Peter Burns stand opening the bar underneath I'm not sure where they can add more bars.

Hmm that's a bit ordinary. Hopefully after one home game that improves.

The PB bar was pretty big so hopefully that makes a difference as well....eventually.

We had that when Powers was sponsoring us haha. Was great, guy with a keg wandering around the stands.

Could it be a RSA thing why the beer isn’t served quicker?

Imagine how much more hammered the crowd would be if everyone that wanted a beer got it straight away.

It may be intentional. We are fairly regulated in this country.

I’ve been to Berlin when the Euros/World Cup are on and the live site - the Fan Mile - is literally a mile of a crowd of people watching big screens. If you want a beer, you can get a beer. There’s nothing sophisticated about the set up, just pop up bars pouring beers.

It’s also buy 5 get 1 free, or buy 10 get 2 free.

Yep. I reckon it's RSA.

You could make it quicker so easily.
