Simmons scored the final try for the Sharks, by twisting out of a tackle from dummy-half.
He had also been involved in the lead-up, when a big tackle by Michael Sullivan dislodged the ball from a Manly player while Manly were attacking the Cronulla line. Simmons picked up the loose ball, and got it back over the halfway line.
