The NSW Rugby League has suspended Mounties player Damien Mostyn for six months after he tested positive to cannabis.

Mostyn tested positive after a sample was take on August 15, 2009, following a finals match.

Mostyn will miss two trial games and four NSWRL competition matches thanks to the ban, and he must also complete 12 one-hour drug counselling sessions and 60 hours of community service.

Mostyn played eight NRL games on the wing for the Cronulla Sharks in 2001.

mostyn got arrested when he was either at the sharks or just left to go to souths, for selling drugs im pretty sure.he must have got off then by the sounds of it?he must hang with the wrong crowd though
