I believe so but on a reduced amount for the final year (We may have propped up the first 3 to compensate for that lower year).

He isn’t quite living up to his reputation on the field yet but I’m sure what he brings off the field in regards to training and game prep (together with Cam) is one aspect that the club wanted them both for.
We often give curry to other teams when they do this, fair to say we need to eat some crow for that decision.

Forget his name

He’s washed

When was the last time we had a big game from him

Compare him to the rest of the 13’s or props

We’re not getting value on the field from him
A lot of the talk was that it’s not so much on field but off the field. In that case let’s move him onto coaching his last two years. He has been pretty underwhelming, particularly this season. I was expecting more from him.

Honestly. The issue with Finucane is we bought McInnes and kept Graham. We needed an experienced club leader. But we have 3 of them that are physically declining.

One thing with Dale is you can never question his integrity. If he thought even in the slightest he was no longer able to contribute he would have that conversation.
I don't think anyone would give up $600,000 a year though, regardless of integrity. It appears to me that Dale is sort of in the Wade Graham category, where family + health start to take more priority. Still I think he needs at least a few games in a row again before I'll judge him, he's had a horrible run of luck.

It's the suspensions and head knocks that are the frustration. When he is on the field he is effective. You couldn't split he and McInnes last year in terms of their work rate, tackle efficiency, yardage output, etc.

I agree @SF that he needs to stay on the paddock for a few weeks before dump on him too much.

Watch this bloke have a cracker of a game tomorrow.
Fingers crossed mate. He hasn’t kicked into gear this year imo. Hopefully tomorrow is the start of him getting back to the form that sore him picked for origin. With the middle shortage for nsw if he has a good 2-3 weeks of footy he could possibly sneak into that side imo.

Not sure he's in the conversation
