defence let him down one or two times, but other than that he was good

solid, just needs to work on his goal kicking

bloody brilliant, dangerous every time he touched the ball. im licking my lips to see what he can do as our halfback

kicking game was good, defence was good and he stepeed up

didnt quite have his usual attacking impact but was still solid

took the pressure off noddy and buster, gave us another attacking option and put the panthers in 2 or 3 minds at times

1. Mitch Brown - 6
Never going to be an electric fullback like the best number ones going around but a solid effort. better get used to the rough and tumble if he is going to be a serious first grader - and i think he will be.
2. Misi Taulapapa - 6
liked the look of him today; never once had to reach for the blood pressure meds. a more rounded player this year and showed more than goodwin did in his stint in the top grade.
3. Ben Pomeroy - 7
i know he was poor in defence on occasion (esp that pat on the back as panther strolled past for a try) but he was a threat otherwise - in attack and defence. he just lacked consistency in the latter.
4. David Simmons - 4
stop gap but not a solution. the 'peachey's replacement' tag was always dubious, nowadays it is a joke. a couple of runs from dummy half were ok but otherwise uninspiring.
5. Luke Covell - 5
well done to score three but goal kicking remains a major concern. positional play and defensive options much better this year.
6. Brett Seymour - 8
incredible to think that sticky sent him back to park football last year. have total confidence in his attack and defence.
7. Brett Kimmorley - 7
it is the way of the aging played to focus more on defence and noddy is no excption. while he is slowing down his attack (run, pass, kick) is still potent.
8. Adam Peek - 6
recovered well from an inauspicious start.
9. Isaac De Gois - 7
he will be the next beds, no doubt about it. a shame to see him go.
10. Ben Ross - 7
is it contract time?? seriously though, i was impressed by his speed into the line and muscle in defence. more of that over the past few years would have meant a lot to sharks fans.

has found his place in the sharks pack, let's keep him there.

we must keep this bloke in the shire; continues to show maturity beyond his years.

almost a 7/10. particularly liked the look of his kicking game.

same old nuts. giving us a warm fuzzy feeling with a hard run one minute, inviting us to murder him the next by having no idea where he is meant to be and f**king things up completely.

yeah, a goer. hopefully he will take advantage of the opportunity he has been given.

surprisingly, i was disappointed in his defence. worth keeping around in the absence of de gois. prefer him and hughes to kingston.

a sound first effort. like his energy in attack, especially when he first came on. possibly the slowest play-the-ball since bella but at least he knows which way to face. the potential is def there.

usual enthusiastic self with some good defense and dummyhalf runs

made one mistake in defense ran good lines hard and fast all day though

blame him for the waterhouse try as he went for and missed an intercept, not nearly as good as last week, but not his worst performance

imagine if he could kick, hed have had 24 for the match, give the kicking to seymour and just let covell score his tries
