imasharkie's ratings for Cronulla vs Brisbane (NRL Premiership, Round 20, 2008)

CRONULLA:
1. Brett Kearney - 6
Not doing a lot on his kick returns but makes up for that deficiency with his general game in attack.
2. Misi Taulapapa - 6
wow no lost ball this week. did a lot of dummy half runs and they weren't wasted ones.
3. Ben Pomeroy - 5
his running in attack is strong but lack of speed is keeping him from making those important breaks. his lack of speed is not helping his defence either.
4. David Simmons - 5
defence was shocking this week although his attack play was better.
5. Luke Covell - 6
Pom is not giving him much ball but when he does it's normally a bad pass to Cov. Cov said his elbow is not as strong as it used to be and this is why he doesn't use it to fend like he used to. I noticed he now tries to put his left side in all his work now.
6. Brett Seymour - 6
Didn't get much quality ball this week as Noddy decided he was the better half and gave Buster none. We look good when Buster is the playmaker.
7. Brett Kimmorley - 4
Disgraceful game by BK. He's gone back to his form that got us nowhere for the last 5 seasons. Crap kicking and woeful inside balls are with us again and we have no chance of being in the thick of things while he is playing like he did against the Broncs. we could have won this game easily if Noddy was playing like he was earlier in the season.
8. Ben Ross - 6
Good game by Ben. He tells me his knee is great now and he may be looking for an extension on his contract.
9. Isaac De Gois - 6
good all round game by Isaac. some heavy defence by him.
10. Luke Douglas - 6
not the high workrate we're used to from Luke.
11. Grant Millington - 7
Looking the goods now.he had a strong game in both attack and defence. solid bench player.
12. Fraser Anderson - 7
did a lot more running this game and copped a shaocking decision when in possesion of the ball close to their line and Boyd pushed the ball out and Hayne didn't go to the video. He did his usual 40+ tackles.
13. Paul Gallen - 8
would have given him a 9 if he didn't lose the ball a few times while in pocession.
14. Danny Nutley - 6
much better game this week from Nutts.
15. Kade Snowden - 6
good solid game.
16. Adam Peek - 6
hope we resign him as he is our workhorse.
17. Terence Seu Seu - 5
not much time but he did some good stuff.

BRISBANE:

12. Sam Thaiday - 6
13. Tonie Carroll - 9
man of the match. he smashed us in defence.
