Just when I thought you were asleep.

You piss the bed.
Wow. Unbelievable debating skills you display there.

Seriously? That's your logical comeback?

Grow up junior - before you have a go at more intelligent, experienced people.
Yep. You'd think he would atleast find a more interesting insult to throw around. It's a bit embarrassing actually.

Fitzy, what is the flawed management structure that had to be rescued by the NRL?

B+B is silly, old entitled prick, who is constantly on here calling people, "knobs, **** wits and tools". Now if you want to align yourself with that, fine. I have no problem with that and I have no problem with you. But just watch as the night goes on and the insults grow. Make your mind up then.

Ok - quote posts where I use "knob" or "tool" as an insult. You're plucking at straws.

Cheers for the compliment btw - I enjoy being silly & old - just wish I actually was entitled.

At the end of the day I've forgotten more than you'll ever learn.

Keep trying to bait me - you've lost this argument horribly, you look incredibly stupid right now.

You're getting so boring now.

I would understand if you had a go at him after he said something smart-arsey (is that even a word?) but he was actually being polite by Born&bred's standards.

Have a go at Born&bred for his views all you like, even call him a knobhead if you think he's acting like one but I just think its irrelevant how old he is as to whether his opinion is valid or not.

I wouldn't say I'm 'aligned' with anyone in particular on this site, although I must admit I do prefer those of the Engadine variety. Haha.

It has to be said tips, you have absolutely no idea and no understanding of this at all. If you are in finance in a high role please tell me where because I never want my financials handled like you explain and applaud. Your analogy with the house is utter nonsense.

People do not walk in to my office and ask for advice for doing nothing wrong. Yet the board found it necessary to get legal advice, paid for by the Club, to see what was required to absolve them. Why? and how much? These are genuine questions. Can you tell us all today how much in total the board have spent on legal fees, consultants, spin doctors, and so on? Is that running the club or self protection?

Genuine Sharks supporters are there for the betterment of the Club not an individual. The board have not performed.
Are you seriously suggesting that only guilty people obtain legal advice?

Well, to be fair, there has been quite a bit of broad-scale accusation and assumption of guilt without real investigation in this thread.

And to Peter... Craig Douglas is still awaiting your call.

Sharks let juniors flounder Keogh

THE rebel ticket seeking to assume control of Cronulla has accused of the current board of snubbing the district's junior league.

Former Australian Olympic basketballer Damian Keogh, who is heading up the Sharks Unity bid, has penned an open letter to members revealing that no current directors attended last week's season launch for the Cronulla junior league, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Keogh was scathing in his appraisal of the current board, highlighting the fact their stewardship has coincided with the ASADA crisis, an NRL salary cap investigation, no major sponsor and lawsuits from two sacked coaching staff, as well as former sponsor E Security.

The group has also printed 50,000 newsletters - dubbed The Daily Shark - to distribute throughout the Sutherland Shire in the lead-up to next week's poll.

Club great Jason Stevens and former boss Peter Gow have both thrown his weight behind the rebels in the newsletter, calling for members to vote for change.

"As a former Cronulla player, I know competent leadership off the field translates to success on the field," Stevens wrote. "I have no doubt that 'Unity' will provide direction that this club has never seen before and help deliver what every fan wants - a premiership."

Only four members of the current board have joined forces on a single ticket, known as Sharks Vision.

Chairman Glenn Coleman - who will be re-appointed unopposed - is leading the group and this week issued a statement to members explaining the board's decision to sack staff after ASADA launched its probe.

Former chairman Damian Irvine - who resigned last month - is also among the 23 candidates, but will run as an independent along with former players Mark McGaw and Dane Sorenson.

Fitz, correct me if I am wrong but the telegraph did not run one article about coleman's statement.

That sort of bias reporting should be made clear to everyone.

My concern is that this sort of support must be returned in the future, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

If it isn't the telegraph will just turn on them like they have this current board. And this whole division of supporters they have created would have been for nothing.

They are really in a precarious position this UNity ticket by who they are choosing to lay down with. I hope they don't get flea's...

"tips" it makes no difference whatsover whether you are a company executive or not. "slide rule" you mentioned the word guilty I did not.

"fitz", you have this obssession with Douglas. Any contact I may or may not have with Douglas is between Douglas and I. As a Director he has responsibilities in regards to confidentiality. If he has told you one way or another that I have called he has breached his duties as a director. So I ask you, has Douglas told you? I think you are a current board member who simply wants to keep saying good things about the board, or are you a patsy for Douglas getting his word out?

As for the development and proceeds from that, I can remember mid '90s there were plans at the Club for perusal. This hasn't happened overnight.

I do worry where many of the nominees allegiances really lie. When some start spending more to get elected than is to be paid in the position I wonder why it is so important to them. Let's hope the right mix on the board.
