I’m in agreeance. We may be in the minority here though, after all posts I’ve read over the years. Admittedly, a lot of that hate might be more to do with his commentary with Rabs and also the infamous “Soft Competition” remark.

Not a massive fan of Gus, really hate how is happy enough to heap praise on himself, and just as quickly pass the buck when things go tits up. He also seems to create a toxic environment.

But,

He is a smart operator, he's extremely good at securing sponsorship, he will fill our recruitment void that Flanno left, and he'd quickly shut down any relocation talk about us.

The positives far outweigh the negatives, it's a yes from me.

I'm in the nonplussed if he doesn't, watch on with concerned interest if he does basket. The last part is how I view most things with our club anyway though.

I'd love Gould, only bad thing he did was come out with the 5 year plan comment. He knows his way around a footy club.
I would however want checks and balances in place to not have one bloke having too much influence on everything happening footy related.

A fully committed and dedicated Gould could be ok I guess - don’t really need to go into what he could bring ( at his best ) to the club as it’s fairly obvious. My concern lies with wether or not he would genuinely have the best interest of the club at heart in everything he does and every decision he makes. Conference if could operate a little on wreckless side.

Agree with you.. during our dark asada days not that I agreed with everything he said.. if I do recall he wasn’t a hysterical headline drama seeking fool, like plenty showed themselves to be...
