Official Cronulla Sharks Board + Management

Sharks election period coming up too. I don’t expect much to change. I always would like to see actual nominations and an election though:

Nominations open today. Will this be the year that the club notifies members about the election process in advance? I doubt it

It appears no election needed again:

You would be spewing to do all the hard work in finally getting the club built then got kicked off the board now!

The big test will be how much money the club can make once its fully opened. The cost of living landscape has changed significantly since the club was last open.

It's hard to believe it was closed prior to Covid!

Also will be interesting so see how Kareela goes once the club is open.

I would be surprised Karella with the club investment by updating it, and made it competitive against others, it might just be a small dip in clients attendance

I would like to see how the patronage would be on start up and for the rest of the year , and any relevance in dips against our competitors in the area.

Yeah there might be some more interest in the elections next year when the Chairmans Club is back open!

It's going to be interesting. I think it can fill a good space in the market though, somewhere where family and social groups can get together without being ultra-fancy. Like the perfect place for a family birthday or a sporting team to get together.

I can't see it impacting Kareela too much... I don't think most Cronulla/Caringbah people would ever go to Kareela except maybe game days. Most people I talk to don't even know there's a Sharks club there :)

Yeah - if they set it up like a Club Menai vibe it can do well. Needs a kids friendly bistro etc

They still get people in but it’s not that lively. Could use maybe live music in the main bar, good for a quiet night and maybe a few games of pool

As always, I find it interesting they can send an email about the AGM, but not the elections :)
