The members seat buyback is the biggest joke. I've checked every home game and haven't seen any 2 tickets side by side in the ET or PB stand all season. I've checked other grounds, like Brookie, and seen member's seats available.

Given the amount of empty seats at our grounds there's something very wrong with the system.

Which is funny because my seats in the lower ET is basically an empty row aside from my seats.

I’m extremely close to where the injured players sit so think they don’t sell tickets near me

Same mate, since 1982. It shouldn't be hard these days with technology. As I said, it's working at other grounds.

People will say well buy a season seat...well no, I can't get to many games.

Mate of mine is a Parra fan and has a 5 game membership. Can choose any 5 games he wants, that's awesome. I know that's impossible for us with limited seating though.

Yeah that maybe makes sense. There's always heaps of empty seats in the PB Stand. **** it, reckon I'll just buy GA and go sit up there.

Haha yep. I suffered plenty of bad years in the 80s but you know what, they're fantastic memories. That's why I cried at the GF, all those great memories came flooding back.
Ditto brother… i always said if the sharks win a gf I’d go an a 2 week bender! When the whistle
Blew and I settled into my seat at ANZ I looked at my missus and said “I’m cooked… let’s go home”
She looked at me like “who is this person this ain’t my husband! “
One of the best days of my life …
Another best was watching the semi v Cowboys at Sfs with Snowman (only met him that day) and meeting a few of the crew from here … what a fortnight!

It would be good if the re-sold seats were accessible to sharks members only (including non ticketed). If you have a spare seat you don’t really want to inflict some random Tigers or other supporter on the people around you.

In the end though, generally most people offer tickets to friends or family, and by the time that process plays out it’s too late to be bothered logging in and selling any remaining seats. The resale values seem to be better than last year though, so it’s probably just a question of getting in the habit of doing it

I can only talk about my experience from the reverse point of view.

We put our 4 seats up when we were away for the Easter long weekend. They were snapped up and we got the cash.

How did you get the cash ?

I have put my seats up twice. The first I had to ask the club if anyone purchased them and the second I havent been told at all and haven’t bothered asking.

That's hopeless, no wonder not many people bother.

I must admit I don’t bother to re-sell my seats if I can’t go. I’m a bit lucky where I’ve got plenty of mates who are happy to take them. I know I don’t get the money for it but I’m happy with the arrangement.
Yeah same. I sit with family and we just have an arrangement where if someone can't go we invite others or give the seats to friends.
