Not a lot new there in the CEO Update, but I'm still glad they keep doing them.

I would love to see the club publish something about what the Stadium and Leagues Club is expected to look like at the end of the development. There is so much speculation and talk about it, but it just goes around in circles.
  • Confirm the expected capacity, and where the increased numbers will fit.
  • Will the old bar area/toilets underneath the Peter Burns stand re-open as a bar on game days
  • Will the corporate marquee stay on the north-western hill, or will that return to General Admission
  • Latest plans for what the leagues club and terrace will look like

Well pretty safe to say the marquee won’t be a permanent fixture when the club is open

honestly id keep it. sell more corporates
I guess it's a balance of what would make them more money - corporates or general public.

Once they reopen Chairman's lounge, upper et stand etc, would there be enough corporates to fill the marque?

the corporates across the year i would have thought. how many people are we not filling in general admission by that marquee being there?

IMO, the more corporate facilities you can incorporate, the better for the grounds long term viability. TBH i would actually replicate the north west courner on the south west. seats and corporate marquee kinda deal (given no stadium money is coming in the short or medium term)

as to selling that, there's currently a corporate waiting list right? i think we could sell it easily. you could even sell that as a more casual corporate (2 games, people wanting to splash on one game a year etc)
you want those corporates in. you want to offer sponsors more.

100% agree - If they can fill it with corporates / casuals etc then it should be kept there.

Keep playing like we are atm will help fill it!

  • In another exciting development, we are moving quickly towards opening the doors of our new Sharks Store in the Woolooware Bay complex. To be located near the entrance to Woolworths, plans are being finalised, we will progress quickly to a store fit out and in the next month or so all your Sharks merchandise will be available in a new Sharks Store. In the interim, the Sharks Store at Kareela will continue to operate.
