Alright guys,

I know we all deep down feel lost and depressed during the summer months with no Cronulla Sharks rugby league to support. However that has all about to come to an exciting end!

Cronulla Sutherland Baseball Club needs your support.

The 'Cronulla Sharks' 1st grade baseball team is one of the best and most respectable teams in the state, competing in the NSWML (New South Wales Major League) during the summer months, and the SWBL (Sydney Winter Baseball League) during the winter months.

This weekend, The Sharks are playing Ryde-Eastwood at ELS hall, and because noone wants to go to Ryde for a baseball game, of all games, this game is being broadcast via the radio.

Everyone, this sunday, tune in to FM 100.1 from about 2PM and listen to the Sharks take on the Hawks.

This is the most competitive league in the country, and we would greatly appreciate anyone who has even the slightest interest in baseball to tune in and support your local team.

If you want to learn more, go to

Come on guys,

Last night Cronulla got up against Ryde last night in the first game of the two game series 7 - 2.

The Sharks need a win on the weekend to stay in the running for the post season.

Everyone tune into 100.1 FM this sunday from 2PM and support your local team.

MACARTHUR Orioles will hit off the new Sydney Major League baseball season in a gala day of entertainment on Saturday, September 11.

The Orioles, a merger between the Macarthur Colts and Auburn Orioles, will take on Cronulla Sharks in the season opener. The 18s will start the celebrations at 9.30am and first grade will wrap them up with a 6pm main game.

A club spokesman said the Macarthur Baseball league guaranteed a spectacular day and night of fun and activities for the kids.

“There will be inflatables, jumping castles, fairy floss, balloon artists and all topped off with a fireworks show,” he said.

“We will also be introducing the Macarthur Orioles’ mascot who will arrive by helicopter and will be named on the evening.”

Local band Beatie in the Background will entertain the crowd following the first grade game.
