Our rookie coach has been learning some harsh lessons these past few weeks.
Everyone was talking about how Fitz would have inside knowledge of the Roosters, but didn't hear anyone mention Trent might know a bit about Fitz

Starting to feel like he needs to come up with better game plans because this side to side stuff with Moylan and Hynes ain’t it

The big issue is Hynes at the moment. His 'eyes up' approach isn't working

Do you think he is learning?
Cause we seem to be doing same dumb **** week after week with little change?
We are getting worse which means a lot of the players we have aren’t actually that good they just flourish when the goings good, you don’t want those types of players littered in your squad.

I wouldn’t be jumping at re signing Nikora, Moylan, Graham, Fifita.. we should be holding onto our $ and making plays at serious players

I can’t hate on Hynes, the kid has to do everything for us it’s not his fault.. he’s always trying and never gives up. He needs help, he’s got loads of talent and he’s only in his 8th game in first grade in the halves he ain’t the issue it’s what’s around him. Even when Mciness made the break the only player there was Hynes

100% agree.
Moylan and Hynes combo doesnt work when the going gets tough. Instead they look lost and go left to right.

Graham/Fifita - thanks for the memories, but as long as they're around thats all itll be - memories.

Nikora - worked well in rookie yr off SJ but doesn't work well with Hynes. Move on

Use that on Vaughan, Matto etc
Make the squad stronger
Cause doing same thing time over and over expecting different results is definition of insanity

Yes mate 100%

I cringed when Fitz said he wants to keep this squad together because from last year we already knew what type of players we have. I get the sentiment but if we want to be heavyweights we need to make some changes

You'll have to be careful with the effort player thinking mate 😏

I'm not hating on him, just that if it's not working it needs to change. And it's not working. I'm not thinking he needs to step out of the seven...

A player with effort AND talent I’ll take 🤓 I hear you I just don’t think he’s the problem, we’ve won games literally off his own back there arent too many halves you can say that about

If we re-sign Moylan and Wade im deadset not renewing my membership.
Im fed up paying good hard earned money and getting served dogshit.
Least with Kayo i can turn it off from confort of my lounge rather than having to trudge 15min up hill back to my car.

Watching the game tonight, to me Hynes is playing more like a traditional 5/8. He runs a lot out wide and is getting tackled a lot on the 4th and 5th tackle.

When Trindall came on and we actually had some ball, he really straightened our attacked around the ruck.

I'm starting to think whether we should by trying a Trindall / Hynes combo. Not that I think Moyan has been playing that bad - more that we don't have a plan B with these two.

Would love to upgrade Nikora to Matterson or Crichton and by the sounds of things won’t cost much more
