What’s your solution then?
Bring in Trindall to be a marginally better kicker but worse at everything else (except I guess staying healthy) and have him get pressured relentlessly as our only kicker?
Spreading the kicking gives us more time and space for the crap kickers to get a decent kick in
Spreading the love between 5 people is going to lead to bedlam, opposition won’t know what’s coming because neither will Cronulla….no Cronulla doesn’t have a dominate kicker like Cleary, Reynolds or Hughes but when has using a number of makeshift kickers been successful?
Maintaining Trindall at 7 where he was consistently improving might not be ideal, but having a “decent” and improving general play kicker has to be better then using Mythlan as a kicking option.
Moylan in the last 3 years has played 34 games in first grade and kicked 34 times. He has probably kicked long 5-10 times in first grade in the last 3 years (probably nearly all of them crap)
Anyway, I knows it is purely my opinion but I can’t stand the thought of seeing Moylan stuffing up the preparation for another season especially when I think he is exactly what the team doesn’t need and is wrecking the pathway for other younger players with potential in Metcalf (who might have already cracked it with the Moylan situation) and Trindall who whilst not being stella has shown consistent improvement and is what the team needs as a traditional 7.
