Official Craig Fitzgibbon

What about his passion in the box today. Ironically each time he got excited about a try it was overturned. Loved seeing it though

Yeah noticed that. Even punched the glass at one time. I’m sure he’s done it before but don’t think I’ve seen it

Great press conference. Really opened up on a few things. Even let a bit of a swear word slip at the end re his goal scoring record being beaten by Nicho.

I agree with what Fitzzy said about the disagreement about Tiegs sin binning & on report, shouldn't have been a sin binning let along a report, was an accidental head to head & the bunker saw that clearly. If that is a 10 in the bin, what I don't understand now, how does the Rabbits player not get anything bar a penalty when he tackles Ronny in mid air & lands him in a clear dangerous position, lucky Ronny didn't get a neck problem with that landing. He was hanging his by his arms so had clear contact landing him.

Loving it, I’ll take that everyday of the week rather than the pi55 weak comments in the presser where he rolls out -
‘I’m happy with the effort’
It was a cracking game of footy’
‘We got a lesson today’

Jesus imagine the heat if we were a bottom 4 team.

I suspect his passion comes from his love for Sifa, Sione, Ramien ect. 150 games for Sifa and these guys will only be at the club for another couple months

He said he believes in the players more than they believe in themselves

He's proud of them and wants them to believe and be their best and have success. Seeing them perform and fulfill their potential after all the years coaching them and hard work and setbacks maybe that's what got him fired up. Was out of character, I'm just speculating, would love to know the reason.

Being down to 10 men from bogus officiating is nothing new but maybe the lads hanging tough with 10 men was part of it

It’s only a small thing, but for someone who has been regularly criticised for his bench use, I thought it was astute he shifted the normal rotation plan by bringing AFB on earlier than normal at the back end of the 10 mins Wilton was in the bin for.

Team just defended 2/3 sets on the line down a man and he made the swap immediately after that. We dominated the remaining time following that

There was also a moment I saw AFB and thought, Addin's looks like he's really blowing here
He was off within like 30 seconds

Fitz revealed something very interesting in the press conference yesterday.

When discussing AFB off the bench, he mentioned that he noticed last year in the prelim our middles were under a lot of fatigue at the backend of the competition.

He is now making a conscious effort to rotate our starting middles to keep everyone fresh.

Toby coming back soon with his spark will add to our middle rotation and will also be fresh.

Guys like big Tom and Kaufusi have been able to have their workload managed and it's really showing the results in their performances.

Did anyone see Bellamy's presser? Man was incoherently rambling. Is he always like this or is it the cognitive decline? It was bizarre. Josh King who is very articulate was gazing at the ceiling. Apparently Bellamy has been diagnosed with something....maybe old coaches syndrome.
Well it is a neurodegenerative disorder...

You'd hope that's not affecting him much and it was just an often angry old man ranting because they were actually in the contest for a massive win (back and forth for 4 tries, then Dogs ran away with it)
And as a result they now miss finals for a I think his first time every besides when they were stripped of points because he oversaw the worst cheating scandal in NRL history and probably still to this day unfairly benefit from it
