I was one day from making it through quarantine from my wife and son having COVID, then …………. FUCKEN hell!
Positive!

I guess the bright side is I “should” be covered for the majority of winter!

I’m celebrating my first day out and about.. hoping it’s no worse that what tagged 3 of the 4 of my immediate family. Felt like a head cold or 12-24 hours then just few more days of coughing and spluttering. Wife doesn’t end iso till Thursday kids and I are eagerly awaiting shops opening at 1pm so we can go out for lunch.

In all seriousness, my nan just caught covid, been rampant throughout her nursing home. She's 95.

Luckily the spent the whole time asymptotic. She knew she had caught the 'virus' and without saying too much, I reckon she thought it was the end.

The doctor asked her if she was tired or had any body aches, she said she was 95.

Such a trooper

In the past 3 weeks I've gone from bronchitis, developed into a lung infection, then whooping cough, and as of yesterday it looks like I may be dabbling into some influenza A.

All that and still no Covid.

It's been like running across the road to avoid being hit by a car only to get clipped by a bus and flung in front of an incoming train and then having a dog piss on you

Biggest issue is getting a doc to see you, I've had countless phone consultations which are useful as tits on a fish.

Honestly reckon that's going to be here to stay. Easy way to rort Medicare

Get well soon mate - plenty on here have had Covid - but nothing like what you have been facing.

Having any of the phone GP’s been able to prescribe you the appropriate medication ?

GPs were useless in person WTF they gonna do over the phone ?

Same useless things they do in person except with the stuff you need like prescriptions and doctors certificates.

They call you between patients so they double up on Medicare
