How good was his try? Shimmied to get his defender flat footed and just burned him with pace as he accelerated past him. I didn't know CT had that in his bag.

I've always been a fan of this blokes energy. I turned on the game with 10 to go and ramien was running across field, the only person that ran on to it was Connor.

His energy is contagious too. When you are 6 points down, you kind of need him out there. His runs get us over the advantage line and he's set us up for the next play.

Just happy to have him in the team. Absolute competitor. Hopefully he can work on his passing a bit and really have a crack at nailing a starting spot

If Wilton does decide to leave, we move Talakai into the back row. Does anyone think Tracey could be a permanent solution for the centres?
He can fight Iro, Hiroti, Stonestreet, Atkinson for it sure. Very real chance he wins that fight but whoever does probably earnt it as that is a fair field

Waaaay too early to tell, he’s had only two good games this year and has been very hot and cold in previous years. Lets not get carried away.

Regarding his try - yes he is deceptively strong. I recall a game last season where he was on the right side and tackled busted his way through like 4 players who had good grabs at him and barged over for the try.

He has done a fantastic job to come back into the team in arguably not his best position traditionally (and after playing FB in reggies this season) and perform so well.

He is very different to Sifa but brings his own strengths and weaknesses to the role.

While Connor doesn't possess Sifa's ball playing skills and isn't going to set his winger up for as many try's close to the line as Sifa he can create opportunities downfield around the ruck or out wide with his speed and agility.

He also gets our sets going with fast runs and ptb's while Sifa is more of a battler in the tackle for metres and overall output.

Defensively they both have their issues at times

Him cutting back infield when he could have taken on his man on the outside was either Connor misread the situation and underestimating his own pace or was just him playing it safe and being conservative. After all he has only just found himself back in the team.

Here's a wild idea - Interchanging Sifa and Tracey during the game. Ronnie would hate it lol but it would be better that whatever the **** Fitz has been trying to do with Trindall from the bench. 😵💫

Fitz seems to finally be figuring out how to use the rotation, let's not confuse him

4 forwards is the way to go

The utility/backline bench role is a waste if that player is only given 10 mins or whatever
Only argument against this is in big games for me. If we were to lose a key player in the finals i'd like to have a utility available. But for round games I don't think we need it.
